I spy

I spy - one corner of the sewing room.

Can you see:
  • one super cool mini-wagon bought from My Poppet
  • a parcel of selvedges yet to be unpacked.
  • awesome dolls bed from IKEA
  • some felted jumpers resting on a chair
  • a basket containing dismembered dollies and a cut out bag for a special dolly.
  • some pale green cardboard for an experiment that didn't work
  • a still-not-finished Nanna trolley containing one large pink tutu
  • a tiny bit of selvedge hanging from the window winder
  • the reason I have achieved almost nothing crafty this week

What you missed it??? Hang on a tick - I'll get closer

At long last we found another kitten -this is Jude and he is very very small. He was only 1 gram into the legal weight range when we bought him from the shelter. He can't meow yet he just mews and cries like a baby. He is totally (and hysterically) uncoordinated.

He has stripey legs but a spotty tummy.
He hides and cries and eats and poops (thankfully in the litter tray)

and is learning to be loved!

So if its OK with you, I might just need a bit of an extension on those monsters.

  5. Jude is simply the cutest little thing. Thanks for sharing a cuddle. Love him amongst the books and on the little bed is just so sweet. I love him...and Miss Eloise too if she is reading.

  6. I don't think he is convinced about the that 'learning to be loved' thing yet.

  7. How sweet...I hope we get to see more pictures...I love seeing them. I think it's funny how he's sandwiched in the bookcase next to Where's Waldo...'cos it's more like Where's Jude?

  8. Oh your kitty is adorable, what gorgeous eyes! Love the photo in the bookcase. ROFL. As for seeing the kitty with its own bed, now that is too cute for words. I started thinking of my own, and hmmmm, well I don't think she would take too kindly to going from the double spare bed to a little doll bed, haha. Great blog, off to read more.

  16. What a beautiful kitting! A silver tabby by the look of him. He would love you sewing... all those threads to pounce on! The bed is juuuust right for him too.

I'm not surprised you want to play with him rather than work on monsters.

  17. I spied Jude, with my extra special cat sense! What a gorgeous little kitty. We forgive you for non monster making, I mean who could make monsters when there are baby cats in the house?

  23. You mean people go out and get cats on purpose? :>} Every pet we've ever had has been a stray who chose us, and would not take no for an answer. Of course we grew to love them. . . eventually. LOL

  24. I did notice something there and decided it was just a lump of grey dont know then ah ha - SOOoo cute. Family wants to get a cat and I have been saying NO for a long time - to many pets. When numbers dwindle (will be some time) I might say yes... (past history of cats wetting our doonas - something about some cats and doonas - become part owner of doona cleaner business at that time!)
