Dead posh

OK, folks I have the biggest scratchiest pair of cranky undies on right now. You guys know the busy beyond busy thing I have going on with concert - well, the body has revolted. I have fluid behind one of my ear drums and its a bit like being drunk (without the alcohol). I am a bit off balance and a bit nauseous and a whole lot cranky.
If I sit perfectly still, its fine...which you would think is manageable wouldn't you ? except I don't think I have sat perfectly still since about 1988...I'm not good at still.
So here is where we are folks...everything is half finished, half started , half arsed and half cocked.

But just so you know I love you ...I took the photo again minus the half eaten apple.

man, this could be a design blog.

All in one go.

Last week through the land of Bookface I learnt that Textile Traders had started to stock my patterns and the patterns of other designers from Creative Abundance. I had heard of textile traders through the WA bloggers who rave about them, but I had no idea how big they were. They have 11 stores and they stock everything you can possible need -including fake turf. (I am strangely drawn to fake turf but that is a whole other story). They have a great video on their site and oodles and oodles of information. I am dead jealous there is not a Textile traders over here in Victoria. (actually in Ballarat would be perfect). Anyway they are having a promotion right now Buy 2 get 1 free on all their patterns, including mine and the other Creative Abundance chicky-babes, so its a good time to buy if you are a WA crafter. The promo runs until June 4th. In fact the weekend at Sewjourn made me realise once again how much we lack a good all-round fabric shop in Ballarat..one for garment fabrics I mean - we are not lacking in the patchwork fabric shops at all.

I am struggling tonight with a toothache and a very non-productive visit to the dentist who tells me nothing is wrong, so I will just say that : Sewjourn + teaching at Drapers of Mt Macedon = exhaustion of the most laughter-filled kind.

Winners of Nikki's book = Mistea + Lynne + naturally carol

Me + drugs = a decent nights sleep (I hope)

whats crapper than crap ?

So I went to the doctor and I had a test that involved something akin to a small bottle brush being shoved up my nose.
Chances are I have whooping cough -the word looks like fun doesn't it? "whooping" yeah well its a big fat fail in the fun department. Its also a fail in the sleeping department and the eating department and the any chance of feeling less crap than crap department.
Breathing hurts.
I'll see you when things are less crap.

Invisiblity

So with all the talk of invisibility, with invisible thread and invisible hems and invisible zips............................guess what I did today?

I invisibled myself from work !
and tomorrow when everyone asks after my health?
I'll tell them I wasn't sick...I was just invisible !
