Tuesday rotate - Vignette

I think we have established that Tuesday Rotate is a rather ad-hoc blog supplement but here it is again.

Today I am going to brag – nope not even a humble brag- a real life Look at Me , I’m in a magazine kind of brag. The awesomely funny Leanne Beasley invited me ages ago to submit a project for her magazine Vignette. Do you know Vignette ? While it is kind of a stitching magazine, it also has travel and recipes and information about fabric shops and supplies – all that kind of stuff I’m guessing you guys are into.

So, enter Mrs sausage Dog (Not my most creative name I admit).

mrs1

Leanne took some awesome photos for the magazine (and even stole one of me from my blog to include)

Leanne does all the photography for the magazine (in fact everything in the magazine) herself.

You have to buy it just to see the photo of Mrs sausage Dog with the cow !

So todays Tuesday rotate will be a copy of Vignette Issue 9 plus a kit for you to make up your very own Mrs Sausage Dog.

(The winner of the felt from the last Tuesday Rotate is Willywagtail – Congratulations)

Chuck in a comment folks and I'll see you tomorrow.

  3. She's really cute Jod but I think she looks a little French, so I reckon she should be 'madame saucisse' and yes, I did have to look it up at the university of google..!!
just saying.... ;o) oh and don't put me in the draw will you, I don't have time to make a 'madame saucisse'...

  6. Maybe you could photostyle yr pics of Mrs Sausage-Dog (obvs it is hyphenated, she added her name to his when they got married) so she was relaxing in a really big hotdog bun.

  9. Congratulations. ( I keep telling you that you are a superstar!) And thanks for the win too. I haven't played around with felt in decades but had a special box when I was a teenager for those prize squares of yumminess. Cherrie

  15. Hi Jodie,
I made one of your Kinder girls last year for my niece, she has called her 'Pippy'. I have completed the PJ's and dressing gown to add to Pippy's wardrobe. When I saw the patterns I just couldn't resist.

  17. Oh Jodie that is funny and you are entitled to brag.
I love her name (very practical and no confusion.)

    See you.

  18. Mrs. Sausage Dog looks like quite the coquette, no? Or perhaps the former coquette since it's "Mrs" Sausage dog. She's adorable!

    Congratulations on the magazine feature.

  19. Oh how adorable!! I know she's SUPPOSED to be a sausage dog, but if I won the kit I think i'd applique on some black spots to re-create my mum's Dalmatian dog Nina. Your mrs sausage dog's face really reminds me of her, and I can guarantee my mum would adore a plush version to cuddle in bed (the real life version isn't allowed in bed as she sheds hair and farts too much, apparently).

Congratulations on being included in the magazine! How exciting!!

  20. Really adorable! And congratulations on having her featured in a magazine. That must be thrilling.

  26. congratulations, fame and fortune were always going to head your way. I can't believe you've told us not to miss the picture of the dog with a cow and then not showed us the picture!

  27. How fabulous to be published in a magazine - congratulations! I like the fact that it will give me bragging rights to tell people I actually know you! Don't worry about the 'plain' name, it shouldn't affect her. My parents decided on Lisa because my older sisters (aged 4, 3 & 1 at my birth) couldn't pronounce Melissa but could manage Lissa, so I got Lisa! So Mrs Sausage Dog really has nothing to complain about, at least you gave her a fab outfit.

  28. How lovely is she! You are so very talented; I might be a wee bit jealous of you - all in an admiring and positive fashion, of course. :)

You should brag. What an accomplishment! Thanks for sharing!
