An impossibility

I may have mentioned before, my love of the collective noun

An array of hedgehog !hedgiering

See that little fellow in the bottom right, with a kind a bent nose and completely askew pink hat?

That’s me folks, a little bent out of shape and perfecting the dragged-through-a-hedge-backwards look.

I am the mother of a 21 year old…

and I have learnt nothing

  1. Mt fave is a murder of crows. Aren't 21yos self sufficient?

  2. Looks like a prayer circle, if you're the religious sort! Perfect metaphor, or is it similie? It is amazing how we know know nothing and babes of 21 know everything. This too shall pass. Lock yourself in your room and play with your toys. :o) Maybe the 21 year old will move out! :o)

  9. Never mind, Jodie! I've got a 30 year old and I'm still trying to work out how we went from nappies to that!

  11. You have a 21yo??! No way!

I do love those hedgehogs and I thought it might be an impossibility of hedgehogs, that would be a very cool collective noun

  12. Adorable array! Congratulations on the 21 year old. Just wait until the youngest gets that far, then you'll be an expert.

  13. Quick it's not too late to book a cut n colour....you just need to find a bossy hairdresser, one that rebooks your appointment before you have paid for the current AND insists you have a funky do..... Makes me feel justified buying new jeans in a trendy shop BEFORE I loose those extra 5 kilos!

  14. It's all uphill from here on. Your son should appreciate that those there hedgehogs will be part of his inheritance one day.

  16. Are 21st birthday congratulations in order?

Don't worry, I'm the mother of a 26yo and grandmother of a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. Whoever said that grand parenting was like riding a bicycle didn't have grandchildren of the opposite sex to the child they raised!

  18. Eeek! Only 2 years to go for me before my tiny baby is 21. My only consolation is I must feel a hell of a lot better than my parents do.

  21. lol, I shouldn't laugh at your pain but I do get it. ;p Have a cocktail...it won't change anything but at least you will have done something other then strangle the kid.

Hang in there and remember: you have plenty of pics of his arse crack! you can treaten to make a bookface page devoted to HIS arse crack and he'll never get a decent date again! ;p
