  2. I hear you! The monotonous drudge of full time work really drags you down. Novel projection of your thoughts - long playing record

  3. I've been thinking about you Jod and wondering how you were coping - now I know! Chill out in the school hols and don't think about the day job.

  4. I reckon that isn't the extended version though... you've only one day left and then you're on hols..... yay!

  5. Nice way to return from long service, 1 week then holidays. You organised that well!

  6. At least you only had one week to ease yourself back to work.

  7. Have a wonderful holiday now that is behind you.

  8. Oh dear! That was bound to happen. I worked in the job network (as a trainer) for a few years -- statistically long-term unemployed people are most likely to drop out of a job in the first two weeks because they Are.. So. Tired! WM has been at the same government department for nearly twenty three years and has months of long service owing. Each year, when he gets his rostered annual leave, I ask him if he wants to add extra weeks but his response is always the same: "the longer I have off, the harder it is to go back!" Take care of you, enjoy the holidays.

  9. Yeah, I have that album too. The song I have been playing today is Fuck Funerals. You know the one, it features Whiny Middle-Aged Men Who Sulk.

  10. I feel for you! It's hard enough getting back into the swing of things after a two week holiday

  11. The best thing about my retirement has been the fact that I don't have to face going back to work after a great holiday...that would always spoil the last week of any holiday. I feel for you, Jodie *hugs*
