5 minute Christmas craft

All you need is some glass baubles with removable tops, these came from Lincraft via a friend

Pop in an old tape measure,

or make some tiny knitting needles by pulling the ends off and old pair, chopping them shorter and glueing the ends back on.

Now what will I do with the remaining empty bauble? If only I could crochet?
(and for far far better executed ideas - go and visit my crafting hero )

  6. Oooh, I think I'd half fill one with pins! Pretty and torturous.

Hope all is well with your lovely doggo now. We down tools when anything happens to the fury ones too.

    :)

PS. Do you think come high Summer, I might be able to bath Cohen in his clothes and then set him out in the sun, to save having to wrestle clothes on him after bath time?

    ...You are very clever
and thanks for letting us in
    on the great idea...

    maybe fill it with Red/Green/White
MnM's ~ Golf Tees ~ or pop a special note in it decorated to special person or a photo with a note on the back
~ or a lovely quote or saying for a special person written on coloured paper / flexible cardboard all decorated with a ribbon attached...

    Excellent Kris Kringle Presents...
even a gift voucher or a personalised IOU....

    Oh the mind boggles....

    Thanks Ms Ric Rac...xx

  17. They're actually glass??? SWEET! I thought we could only buy those hideous cheap plastic things here in Aus. Hitting up Lincraft's website and hoping they're listed :D

I too was going to say "but hey, I crochet" yet it seems you've got offers galore ;)

  22. Love all the ideas. You could get all the threads that get snipped off and end up on the floor, roll them into a ball and shove them in. Especially if there are lots of colours.
You could say you were cleaning up for Christmas then and no one could complain about you doing some craft instead of cooking dinner, etc., etc., etc...

  26. So many good ideas running around in that head.

  27. I kept wondering why no one said selvedge, and then Fer did. When I buy fabric the first thing I do is use pinking shears on the raw edges before I put it in the wash. The little pinked scraps are tiny and colorful, perfect for your globe.
