After last weeks focused sewing thanks to Annie, I have been thinking that maybe my usual approach (dithering from one project to another) needs a bit of an overhaul. So, this week is the week of dolls.
Apart from adding selvedges to the Big Project I am going to sew dollies and clothes all week . Don't expect to see any marvellous results like last week - it is all far too fiddly for any massive results but I'll keep you posted (How fascinating I hear you cry).
This is Hazel, she is bestest friends with Leopold and she has a big adventure planned !!!
This is Hazel's little quilt, only "blog finished" at the moment, the binding is pinned at the back but I just wanted to show you those corners - these are the best corners I have ever done and it is all thanks to this tutorial from the gorgeous Fiona of Dear Fi - even the endy bit worked out. Thanks Fi!!
Oh and this.....this is a cat in a bag of course.

And I also have been thinking my craft schedule needs an overhaul. I have been reading about Jhoanna from One Red Robin keeping a tight ship preparing for her show, and thought I might try to actually put it to paper what I plan to do each night.

I trust the cat in the bag was a big help while you were giving birth to Hazel. Nice corners! I can't wait to see what accessories you, the accessory queen, come up with for Miss Hazel and her sidekick, Leopold.
No matter how good a friend Leopold was there would be no way that he would be getting into bed with me, with his 6 legs and feelers .... ooooooooh poor Hazel!!!!!!!!!

I managed perfect corners thanks to Fiona too. She is a saint, and I think I am in love with her (but don't tell her, coz I'll get all embarressed)
I do, however, still think Leopold and me would make a very dashing couple - imagine us at the wedding, all dressed up - him in his top hat and tails, me wearing white (coz I am so pure, of course). It'd be a heavenly day. Can you give him my number? Tell him your mate fancies him?

Your corners are very good to my untrained eye but your catinabag is absolutely adorable. Ours is always hopping in bags too.
Does Hazel know that grasshoppers are wasters? I do hope for her sake that Leopold is an exception or he will..er, fiddle until winter... at which point... what happens when you cross a grasshopper with a doll...?
The cat in the bag is soooo lifelike, you must have spent ages on it. Possibly.

Does Leopold's planned adventure involve meeting up with a couple of million of his friends and eating the Australian grain crop? No? That's a relief. Perhaps a trip to the tea shop instead.

Hazel is very cute, but not as cute as your gorgeous cat.
Oh my, your kitten looks just like my 'Billy-Cat'. She was 16 and died 2 years ago but this is just what she looked like when I first had her at 5 weeks old. I've had a little blub as I miss her sooo much.
