Hahahahaha Locket! In your ear!*ahem*Jodie, your imagination is truly without parallel throughout the blogoverse. Operation, knickers, hahahahaha....
LOL! You are too funny, Jodie! I've always wondered WHY they make the patient wear those awful hats? (Even the ones without much hair!)
You are so inspirational!! That is the cutest thing I have ever seen.
That looks great Jodie - just right. What fun you've had with that. I think her undies look lovely.
LOL! Yeah best not to tell her!Too cute!
What a poor little dolly! I do hope she doesn't realise about the knicker thing! Locket xxx
Well... on the bright side... at least she has undies. I hate those gowns... they're never long enough either. It's as if the designer thought... the patient will have so many worries... let's add some more!
EEK, she is gorgeous. I am sure there will be a little friend to hold her hand when she has her operation ;-)
Love the doll! Nice scrubs!
She looks great Jodie, I'm sure she will have someone to look after her
She is delightful!I love the gown.
Did you make that specifically for a child who is going to have an operation? That doll is a PERFECT way to help kids get used to the idea to work it out through play! And she's darn cute to boot!
Oh my! You are so funny!I used to love that song!!!!
AWESOME! I love her! I agree with the comment about helping kids go through hospital things by playing with a hospital dolly!!
LOL!!! Fab!Let's hope she does have undies on to flash!
My money is on the appendix. :D
Oh and I have just seen your counter. Thanks for the G&T snort!!
your dolls always make me feel warm and fuzzy! But this one especially, she is so sweet and seems so real!!! very cute indeed
Well if your knickers are going to be on show, best make them gorgeous knickers. And that's what you have there - a gorgeous-knickered girl. I hope the op goes ok! :-O x
Jodie, your talents are boundless! Love the scrubs - (PS We won't tell her that her undies are showing!!)
the nurse in me loves this one. Your dolls rock Jodie!!
Love the little bunny badge on her scrubs. Cute!Dolly looks very perky. Has anyone told her what's going to happen!?
I hope you will give her a lollipop Jodie?? Hee Hee.
Honestly the detail in your work just makes my eyes pop! Love her apple dress too! Whenever I have a crap sewing moment, making a 'normal' sized garment, I think of these dolls and their tiny clothes Jodie!
How fabulous is that!!! Wow, never ending creative genius from you! I love the operation doll! That should help a little one through a potentially difficult experience.
I love the undie flash. She's gorgeous.
Good luck with your hospital stay Miss Polly. You know how that song has become so politically correct since we were kids and now it goes ... "I'll be back in the morning yes I will, will, will" ... we in our house we say what the heck with political correctness and sing ... "I'll be back in the morning cause I don't bulk bill". Well we all have to make a living :)
Oh Jodie! What a lovely helper dolly for a sick little person. Too, too sweet. And I love her glasses and red hair!
What a sweet gift for a hospital bound little one.At least she is wearing undies which is more than can be said for some people you see wandering around hospitals.
Hello, just found your blog and it's lovely! My daughter had surgery a few years ago now when she was 7 and as soon as she came out of the surgery, while still groggy and half out of it, she was whinging and crying. I asked her what was wrong, was she in pain or something and her reply was "I just want my nickers back on"... lol. So precious.Hope all goes well and she loves her dolly gift.
Ohhh, I love it!
Hi Jodie, I love your blog, I keep looking at the selvedges as I am sewing and feeling guilty for throwing them away! What is happening to all the little people you create? They never end up in your etsy shop... Are they all going to Mirabel?
G'day JodieWell if I never - have you worn one of those outfits for an op? ... I've had the embarassment of not even having knickers to be seen at the back .... auuuuuu TMI -too much info ...Anyway onto another great subject - I see the offers of selvedges are coming in thick & fast - told you everyone would be behind you in your venture .... Go Girl Go that Q_ _ _ _ oppppp nearly said it, but that's what I'm thinking your makin girl ... it will be finished in not time ... all the best ... Bethel
So sweet!!! You have a very wicked sense of humour!! I love it!! Cathyx
Oh bless her! I'm sure the breeze in the knicker area will soon make her realise...poor love :)I'm not going to look as I don't want to embarass her.xxx
Another fabulous idea. What a great gift for a little girl.
love the dollies...!!So very cute!
Still giggling ... when I had my tonsils out (at about age 18) I decided that I didn't see why I should go knickerless when they were operating on my throat - so I left my undies on! I still remember the nurse who helped me change back into my nighty after the surgery commenting in surprise.
