Did you make that specifically for a child who is going to have an operation? That doll is a PERFECT way to help kids get used to the idea to work it out through play!

Honestly the detail in your work just makes my eyes pop! Love her apple dress too! Whenever I have a crap sewing moment, making a 'normal' sized garment, I think of these dolls and their tiny clothes Jodie!

"I'll be back in the morning yes I will, will, will" ... we in our house we say what the heck with political correctness and sing ... "I'll be back in the morning cause I don't bulk bill". Well we all have to make a living :)

My daughter had surgery a few years ago now when she was 7 and as soon as she came out of the surgery, while still groggy and half out of it, she was whinging and crying. I asked her what was wrong, was she in pain or something and her reply was "I just want my nickers back on"... lol. So precious.

Still giggling ... when I had my tonsils out (at about age 18) I decided that I didn't see why I should go knickerless when they were operating on my throat - so I left my undies on! I still remember the nurse who helped me change back into my nighty after the surgery commenting in surprise.
One of the little girls will be having an operation a bit later in the year...................
