I'd like to show you the Gocco-ing I have been up lately:
The house that I'm not really happy with
The tree that I think might be OK.
The house that I think is better than the first attempt
The birdcages I have promised and finally printed
and the girls that I love - even though they don't work for what I wanted.....................
I want to tell you what they're all for and ask your opinion and share some of the duds if anyone wants them............
BUT
I can't - because Annie is expecting to see the quilt blocks for granny's quilt tomorrow morning - all sashed.
Only one seam to go ! and only one unpicked so far!
Keep going Jodie - you can do it!!! And I'm very happy to re-house any so called duds - your goccoing is fabtastic! I love that photo of the little fairy house among the flowers and the girls are stunning! Locket x
ReplyDeleteP.S. I absolutely can't believe that I've managed to be the first one to comment today - you get so many comments I'm often way down somewhere in the 30s! Do you reckon this one will hit no.2????
ReplyDeleteIf it does, should I keep on commenting to see how many hits I can get in the top 10?
No?
You sure?
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY! I DID IT!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGoing now..............
oh Locket.(shaKes head) It is all that freedom that comes with having a better wrist.
ReplyDeleteNaturally I would demand to be told what all of these delights are for but Annie scares the bejaysus out of me and I wouldn't want to make her mad at me!!!
Oh, I would sooo like to try gocco-ing some day! Hope you are sewing fast!!! can hardly wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteThose are so great. I wish I owned a gocco..maybe i should talk to Alex about that :) I cant wait to see your granny quilt as well.

ReplyDeleteLook at that Lucy Locket taking up the first 3 posts ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the girls, they look lovely. As do the houses and trees.
I'm another that would be happy to rehome a "dud"!
well, if those are duds then I shall never try gocco...I feel my efforts will be totally rubbish.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them all (actually, the house is my fave)
and if you're sharing.......go on....I'd look after it and love it forever and ever and ever ;)
The Gocco outcome is such a treasure - all lovely - esp the trees. Boy that Annie is a task Master huh? Glad the quilt is going so well - it's going to be beautiful!

ReplyDeleteLook forward to see what you're doing with the girl print!! I still havent' made up my bird cage... shall do soon!!!
ReplyDeletelol just looked back up the top and read Lucy's comments.... I think she should have kept going to fill 10 places!
ReplyDeleteOne thing you have to tell me is: how do you get over the Gocco fear? I just can't seem to bring myself to bite the bullet and just burn a bulb and make a screen already! Sigh. Maybe if I was able to make things as wonderful as yours...?
ReplyDeleteWe could all use more friends like Annie, couldn't we?
Ooh, I love them! The trees are wonderful, and I love the little girls.
ReplyDeleteJods these are fantastic! Those little girls are rather special - remind me of the skipping girl in Melb... Remember what Michelle said - you need to charge more!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the little girl - i want one!! They all look great. We are our worst critics!
ReplyDeleteI love the little house Jodie, and happy to take a dud little girl too. Now get on with that sashing!

ReplyDeleteOh! Houses and trees and girls? That is just too lovely. Your creativity knows no bounds!
ReplyDelete(PS I made your birdcage and blogged it. It's BEAUTIFUL!)
I just love your little girls they are gorgeous they remind me of the dresses my mum used to make for me.when I was little.
ReplyDeleteHugs Mary.
What is gocco?
Geez I was dropping by out of my reader to say hey ho send me your unloved rejects, but 3 people beat me to the punch. You're a popular lass aren't you!
ReplyDeleteMight have to actually crack my little pet gocco out of the box and have a turn.
Um obviously I meant 30 people beat me to it. Stupid 0 keys is broken.
ReplyDeleteCRAP, would have LOVED one of the 'duds'...next time.... :-(
ReplyDeleteSend any duds my way too. I love those girls and I must admit I love the first house the best. I must get myself a gocco. I think I might have to use the rest of my tax money on one instead of new clothes!
ReplyDeleteI need a Red Birdcage to go with my Blue one. He's lonely.
ReplyDeleteJanie
All lovely Jodie. The little girls are really sweet.
ReplyDeleteget back to Granny's quilt! Expecting the next boarders tomorrow. Great choice of fabric!
ReplyDeleteNot more juicy gocco prints to make me jealous! Don't you understand I can't afford to buy a gocco magic machine just now? I shelled out $340 for a new button machine so I better be a good girl for now and just get my gocco fix via you.
ReplyDeleteNow quick smart Miss Jodie, best get on to your quilt before Annie reads this!

ReplyDeletebeautiful prints, this is what the Gocco was meant for! Very sweet and simple. Was it easy to do?
ReplyDeleteWhen I win the lottery I will buy a Gocco...
Joey :D
i am waiting on my tax cheque to buy a gocco as they are around $350 at my nearest shop...would love to do some prints on fabric.
ReplyDeletedo you need to feed the fabric through the machine to get a run? i thought you could only do small prints the size of cards...
Those are so great. I wish I owned a gocco..
