I used to love the shrinkie key ring thingamabobs! They look really cool on your robot. Got the class requirements for your softie class in the mail today...very excited!
Love your work Jodie! And thanks for taking me back 25 years Yardage Girl............the smell, and Mum going bananas someone wrecked her favourite tray! : )
Delightful as usual AND is there a way we can stream the FB/text exchanges between your kids and their friends about what you get up to. In the best possible way, your life sounds like an episode of Larry David's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. At one stage Etta James said her epitaph should be 'The sign said stop, but I went on straight aheah!'. And yours should be 'Funny - even without the felt' - and that is meant as a great compliment :)
EEEP! I sincerely hope that there is no end to your creative genius Jodie because this is easily my very favourite corner of the blogosphere. It is like opening a present every time you post - I know it'll be good but I have no idea in what way it'll be amazing! (I remember people shrinking chip packets and making them into hang tags for their school bags.)
Yep, back to the days when the height of cool was a shrunken twistie packet on your locker keyring! And I seem to recall shrinky dinks in cereal packets - in the good old days when you got something other than just cereal in there!!!
Beautiful, I love robot dials, what fun! And best comment goes to Susan, made me laugh ;-) p.s. my word verification is reject, nothing personal I hope!
This is sooo cool. I really don't do enough shrinking projects. I made some funky xmas ornaments once though. I want to hear more about shrinking chip packets, what's that all about?
Hi, I am Jodie Carleton. I craft almost every day . I sew all sorts of stuff, nothing particularly useful, but lots of toys and some not-toys as well. I'm currently obsessed with robots, printing, text and a fox softie that isn't quite working.
It's nice of you to pop in, say Hi if you like, ask questions, or just hang out.
These tutorials are here for you to have a try. Please feel free to make any number of these items for your own use or gift-giving but please do not make items to sell using these instructions.

Oh Yardage Girl how I wish we could shrink chip packets again.
And clever things come from crafty minds. Looks great!
I wonder if you are suggesting I have a small mind...because I am rather amused ;)
