Hi Jodie!

I love your little heffalump! The dress fabric is really cute and quirky. Is pachyderm the name of the fabric you've used?

Vikki :-)

Precious pachyderms.
Pins in the eyes a little disconcerting though.

You continue to inspire.

Awww.. I love the curve of the trunk..subtle shaping on the arms.... well worth the development time spent on it. It's squealy-cute.

what a cute little elephant!

i may copy the dress for my little girl's dollies. :)

the pins in the eyes . . . a little crazy . . . i hope you get those out soon!

She's coming along so nicely, looks fully evolved to me. But please, get those pins out of her eyes, it makes me cringe. My cat once stepped in my eye, tore my cornea. That was the worst pain I've ever felt - and yes, I've had two kids!

Lina said...

Ha ha the pin is so funny! I LOVE the flowery dress fabric, just gorgeous!

Eva said...

ohhhh, we love elephants around here. Yours is divine.

My word verification is "darlinge" how fitting.

I love elephants :-) In childhood, I had a cuddly one - in place of a bear :-)

She looks just like Flora, from the Babar books!

Very cute! But do you really think you've got your acupuncture technique right? I'm sure the needles aren't meant to go in the eyes. Perhaps you ought to read the handbook again.

How gorgeous!!, The tone of grey is perfect and that dress is very classy for an elephant!..I'm with Lucy about the pins...he he, I know it is just so we think you are really devilish.

Oh, she's beautiful. And her pretty dress. A pattern for this may inspire me to overcome my softie-making fear.
I love her!

chunkychooky (Cath) said...

i love her too? will there be a pattern available?

The problem with being the 51st commenter is that everybody else has already said it all- LOL! I, too, admire the wavy trunk. I think I remember another charming elephant from your card - I love it, but this one's trunk is even better! I just spent OVER AN HOUR traveling back in time on your blog. I made it to November 2007 and my eyes gave out. I saw some very cool things - I just love the doll popsicle - and laughed a lot. Thanks for the great visit.

Very cute.
How are the blue hands coming along?

Kerryanne English said...

Yikes... a pin in the eye - thats gotta hurt. Simply love this latest offering.

I'm sure that cute nellyphant is benefiting hugely from the DIY acupuncture you're applying there. ;-) x

an elephant voodoo doll??? what did an elephant wearin' a dress ever do to you??? hmmmm....

very cute... whatcha callin' it??? Lissa is a nice name! LOL and I am built like a elephant, even have grey bits - my skin from not seeing daylight cause my mean husband made me go back to work and my hair, cause the stress of having three teenagers has turned me grey...
