Oh yes, I've seen the glances from the builders next door when I was standing on my outdoor table on one leg to get the perfect photographic angle...you're not alone in your craziness!
When the kids line up along your fence and run away when you start talking to them - thats when you have hit crazy lady stage!! I think your neighbours would love to see what you are going to create with that amazing felt!!!
I think we have all done something similar. But I did once get my family each to don an apron outside my front door for a photo op.. .and they were really glad the postman, dog and neighbors didn't stroll by!
Haha, I did something similar a month or so ago with my sock monkeys, a photo shot in the garden... I did get a funny look from one neighbor but it was beautiful and sunny and I got some great shots!
You have lots of friends in that crazy club. Last week I was laying down on the front lawn on a piece of card board taking photos of mushrooms. I am investigating bean bag tripods.
Now see, you're actually quite normal I think. Doesn't that felt look fantastic in the autumn leaves? I have a friend who put bags and bags of autumn leaves on the floor in her house because she loves crunchy autumn leaves underfoot. That's crazy. You're more the eccentric type.
If you sewed all the felt together and added tassels to the corners in your own version of a flying carpet, then the neighbours can comment and label you the 'crazy' lady. (Currently picturing you in your harem pants, little vest top and curly toed shoes! Very cute.)
You might just have sympathetic neighbours who also read your blog. Those colours are wonderful, and the leaves give the right amount of contrast.
ReplyDeleteWonderful colours!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why I prefer to make photos at the back yard ;)
Hugs,
Tatyana
That is wonderful looking felt though
ReplyDeleteMight? Accept and embrace it Missus.
ReplyDeleteI don't know enough neighbours for them to have an opinion.
ReplyDeletealso I do take photos of stuff in the garden, but I'd be worried about the pretty, pretty felt getting muddy bits on it!
great pics though.
You really have been existing in a state of delusion then? Out and proud, I say!
ReplyDeleteWe are all a little bit crazy! (Nobody probably even noticed!)
ReplyDeleteWere you talking to the felt as well as photographing it?
ReplyDeleteWhaddya mean "might"? Haven't we always known you as such???? ;-D
ReplyDeleteYes, but they whispered to each other, "She used to be alright. Once she started making things...well, she went bonkers!" ;p

I think it's official.
ReplyDeleteDon't change a bit!
You mean you are only just coming to that realisation now?!?
ReplyDeleteJust enjoy it - at least when you really do get old and demented people will already expect you to be a bit crazy!
Well worth any crazy lady comments - those colours look fantastic.
ReplyDeletePffft- you so ARE the crazy woman and that is why we love you!
ReplyDeleteNow you must start feeding the birds excessively and keeping more than 3 cats and your transformation will be complete. Like mine.
ReplyDeleteJoin the club Jodie! xxx
