doing the bum dance...

I am making progress.

I bought a shelving unit to use at the show,

which I promptly managed to almost fill with junk from the floor

I have made a zipper mouth monster from the new pattern that I have written (just not had tested yet)
and I did some painting....This will all get a second coat tomorrow.

and in a feat only possible by the most uncoordinated crafter on the planet, I managed to mangle my own bum while taking a photo in the sewing room.
My not-at-all- small-or-pointy butt collided with a small pointy edge of cupboard...... The cupboard won.

and I thought Edna caused pain....I knew nothing!

  10. Oh hell! I can't think of any witty bum-related jokes to add to your collection above!

But as Senior Management I do have to say that I hope this injury does not impair your ability to sit at the sewing machine! ;o)

  13. Years ago I used to sew standing at the counter of a fabric store where I worked. It works really well, in case you aren't able to sit just yet. :0/

  14. It looks like you might need another set of shelves so that you have one you can take to S&C. Sorry to hear about your bottom. It sounds like it is having a hard time lately. Glad to see that you have that zipper mouth pattern almost ready.

  22. I've always thought it would be handy to have a small pointy bottom. It would make standing in corners a lot more convenient.

The shelves look fab. Hope your derierre is on the repair.

  23. Love your shadow box hanging on the wall - it's exactly the same as my old one (which was originally my mums) that I've just pulled out for daughter no. 1's new room!
PS Try and stay sane for the show - promise to bring you some biscuits!
