One hour plastic wallet

I have finally added the paper and plastic wallet tutorial link over on my sidebar.
I called it a one-hour-wallet but I think you could easily do it in less. For ease of sewing I recommend you get a Teflon foot for your machine, for sewing plastic. It makes a HUGE
difference.
Surely you know someone who needs their school report refashioned this Christmas ?

  1. I love that you were a nuisance in computing.
    Look at you now!!!

  2. And I love it that you talked quite a bit even then!

  3. Little did your teachers know that you were in training to become the sought-after speaker that you are now...

  5. You know you just can't write that stuff in reports anymore! Litigation Litigation!!!
So take cae of yours, they're (like mine) relics of a past age now!
Jolly good use for them though I must say!

  10. I burst out laughing at this one. Truly genius! I'm trying to think if I have anything incriminating that would make for a good holiday gift for my friends. Actually, though, come to think of it, I may have some letters which would be sweetly nostalgic instead of hilarious. At any rate, loving this! Thanks for sharing :-).

  11. AWESOME tutorial, Jodie!! :)

    (But then, that's nothing new!!)

You're making my Christmas crafting a LOT more fun ~ and easier!! :)

As for being a "nuisance" in "computing," I'll bet that even then, somewhere in your mind, you were too busy creating your adorable friends and your amazingly lovely projects!!

  14. Little did he/she know you would become the talented person that you are. I would be tooooo embarrassed to put my school reports out there for the world to see. I have kept them well and truly hidden from my kids.

  17. Spends far too much time being a nuisance? But there's so little time to be a nuisance in!

I used to say that I was perfect - a perfect nuisance... and strangely nobody even tried to disagree!! Nuisances of the World unite!!

  19. Hee hee - I do wish they still did reports like that. They're so full of bland cut'n'paste stock phrases now. Tell it like it is, I say!

Great tutorial Jodie - those wallets are fab :)

  22. Your patterns are so great Jodie! I finished a kinder boy yesterday and had to thank you again for the pattern and say what a brilliant job you have done! Thank you!

My kinder boy is on his way to Meet me at Mike's on Monday to join up with the other Mirabel softies. I wonder if he will meet some more Kinder boys and girls? I hope so.

  23. Love your school report! My sewing teacher at school called me 'gormless' and I had to go and look it up in a dictionary.
Love the wallet, could you use fabric on the outer side or oilcloth perhaps?

  24. Made a couple of these last night for my niece and sister. Very easy to do, especially with the teflon presser foot. Filled them with some cash and VIOLA......stocking stuffers. I plan on making a couple more for co-workers with some very cute christmas wrapping paper.
