It was some time last term when the quality control officers got a peek at the first peanut-headed draft of these guys. I tell you, I am not built for speed.

3 pm - Some straps, some tidying.....And in a fit of who knows what, last night I joined facebook. After waxing lyrical about wanting to set up a business page but not really wanting all the drama of 'friends' and stuff, I decided to bite the bullet.
I joined and I have a page and I have a business page but I ticked or unticked or double clicked somewhere I shouldn't because I don't exist.... I mean I know I am there, but no-one else can find me, which surely defeats the whole bloody purpose.
I'm over it already!

I tried to find you on Facebook, but frankly I get awfully confused when I try and use it. I keep accidentally poking people and friending people who ask me if I want to lose 10lb stomach fat by the weekend.

I LOVE Facebook; don't post often but it's been a great way to keep in touch with far-flung friends and with my girl in China when its govt allows access. I love your little knights in felty armour; were you inspired today to whip up a wee Vatican guard or Pope, maybe?

I've actually found connections with a few friends that I thought I'd lost in life... a good thing. Also people I don't know - or haven't wanted to for about 20 years - want to be my friend. (So... how did you bypass that bit?)

This may be the first time I actually think I may be ready to be a grandma some day. So I can make little knights for future grandchildren. My own children grew up far too quickly. Can we do over the last 27 years?? :0)

I'm on Facebook too and have a love/hate relationship with it . When I'm in a hating pbase I just ignore it and when I'm not in a hating phase I go and say "hi". I have mine set up so my blog posts from my various blogs show up automatically there, so that creates some traffic on my blogs and that's always a good thing.
And I find ignoring friend requests works just fine. :)

The knights are squealable cute! In a fierce, swashbuckly, mannish way of course.
I joined Facebook last year on the wish of my DH and spend about 5 minutes every four or five days on there. I much prefer reading and commenting on blogs--THAT I can do for hours and hours at a time!
I think you may find the answer in you security/privacy settings. You can elect to keep your profile hidden so random people can't find you even if they search for you. There rare degrees of hiddenenness, so I guess it's something in there...
Of course the softies rock too :-)
Those guys are so cute! I love them! Facebook...hmm....I deleted my account about 6 months ago. I figure I spend enough time online with just blogging and Flickr ;D

Hhmmm... have to admit I signed up for Facebook last year but it felt too much like voyeurism for my liking - but it is another networking tool I suppose.

I have a facebook page for My bearded Pigeon as you know but I do find it all so painful in a way. I am amazed at how much time poeple must spend on there... as opposed to blog reading which is far more intersting.

I'm not doing FaceBook, blogs, business, 4 children & real life are busy enough. I have a page which says i don't do FaceBook just blogs, no Tweets either. Trying to set the example that my children will not be doing FaceBook in the same mantra of "i never smoked, don't try it either". Good God, don't children spend enough time with each other during the day?? Love Posie

Well done on joining facebook, it can be great as I found a friend I'd lost contact with when we both moved countries, as for the people I don't want to know, I reject them when they ask to be friends and have even blocked some of them so they don't exist to me on Facebook and I don't exist to them! Let me know if you need any help with the Facebook thing.
Is there a Facebook for Dummies?? I seriously need it as I find Facebook to be cumbersome, not user friendly and way to easy to mess up with no idea of recovery.

Knights!!! We love knights and all their medieval doings hereabouts so these are right up our street. Don't quite know why but their little nose guards really make me happy!
As for Facebook, I'm on their too but after first going on and losing three days of my life I take things a little more gently now.
