The weekend before last I toddled off to the Finders Keepers Market in Melbourne.
I was on a mission !
Shannon's stall looked great and she and Kirst cracked me up with their stitching conversation.
2nd stop - Yardage design - you guys remember Nic, and her beautiful bunting....
well you can see why I needed to have some of this new fabric as well. It is divine and appeals to my love of typography in a big way.
Then, with my eye on the prize, I sought out Victoria Mason (who is just lovely by the way)
and bought my hearts desire.
Oh Jodie that is gorgeous !!
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful thinks there and I can see why you loved the necklace. It is very unusual.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! That necklace is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI love the necklace in fact I need the necklace.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shopping, Jodie!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous! Was eyeing if off at Finders Keepers as well.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin has that necklace and I am envious every time she wears it. Finders Keepers sounds like it was fabulous!
ReplyDeleteomg the necklace is fabulous! I'm going to save up and get one .. that is just too fantastic for words.. love it... and the buttons and fabric are quite nice too.. but not as awesome as the necklace!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything like that necklace , that is just amazing !
ReplyDeleteI don't wear necklaces, at all, but that is lovely. And the punctuation fabric is most excellent also.
ReplyDeleteSweetwater for Moda "pure" has several prints with ampersands on. And I think American Jane has a range just about out called Punctuation - not sure haven't see it properly yet.
That sounds like a jolly good day out - very nice haul!
Cheers,
AJ

But what are ya gonna do with 'em Jodie, what? Huh, what? Don't keep us guessing!

ReplyDeleteI was at Finders Keepers too! It was great, wasn't it!? I thought you might have had a stall there actually. I did a post about it, but I wanted to let you know about my most recent post instead, I'm wondering if you've heard of the Melbourne Reef project? http://stylewilderness.blogspot.com/2010/10/crochet-your-own-coral-reef.html
