So we come to the third and final Stitches and Craft related giveaway. This one is for all the international people.... (as in...NOT in australia)
You know, I have one of those little maps right down at the bottom of my blog and it puts little dots on where people are visiting from. Its quite fascinating. But it can be quite worrying- I've had this conversation with a few friends...you see, two people visit my blog from the middle of the ocean. Yep, two little red dots in the middle of the ocean. I can't help but imagine two lonely castaways on their wooden raft, with their laptops...you know, just catching up on some craft blogs... (edited to add - there is only one dot today - oh dear, I hope the other person didn't get washed overboard)
So if you would like to be entered to win a show-bag of patterns and stuff from me, Just leave a comment - and if you like, tell me where you are from, your town and country or just your country - whatever rocks your life raft!
(The winner of the previous giveaway that had no fancy title was "sewing the seeds of love")

Hi Jodie!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Minneapolis, MN, USA. I'm working right now on my Master of Architecture thesis, which is focused on the architectural use of fabric and dance. Your tips and tricks and fantastic creatures have been both inspirational and a great break from 'master-ful' thinking.

ReplyDeleteI live in Indiana and have a passion for sewing- not so much dolls-but I've been thinking about making some for my mom. Love your stories and your honesty!

ReplyDeleteI wish, wish, wish I lived close to the ocean! I live in north Alabama in the southern US. I do however live just a couple miles from a really nice river ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore your patterns and softies and sense of humour! Thanks for the opportunity to win a little something fun :) I'm visiting from Flint, Michigan .... :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the show! Love from the Yorkshire dales in the UK!
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks for the opportunity to which such crafty goodness! Signing in from California, US.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the dot in the middle of the sea was alarmed at being discovered, and has gone off the grid! Here in Massachusetts, USA I'm very much on terra firma!
ReplyDeleteI can see the sea from my flat! I'm not really showing off as I have to bounce on my daughters bed whilst looking through a pair of binoculars! I can then see a glimpse of Poole harbour (Dorset, England) which locals often claim is the second largest harbour in the world after Sydney. (I think we might be fibbing about that though) Can't see any rafts with bloggers on - must have drifted away!!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and would love a chance to win some fun patterns. I have your teapot pattern that I am using to make my mom a mother's day gift. I live in Michigan where they use their hand to tell you where they are from!
ReplyDeleteha! I've only just come across your blog and I see NZ is already swamped.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to reading your blog tonight - right now we have to get ready for kindy (isn't that always the way)
I love, love, love your blog. I am from a land surrounded by lakes... Michigan, USA. I once heard that you cannot go more than 5 mile with out hitting some body of water here in Michigan. I have no idea if this is true but kind of crazy to think about. Thanks for all of your great hard work!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I live in Mexico City, I think I'm the dot in Mexico!!
ReplyDeletei live in a small suburb just outside of Buffalo, New York. a large part of our year is spent digging ourselves out from snow drifts, but it is a wonderful place to raise a family.

ReplyDeleteHi from me in Jakarta Indonesia :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and your creativity :D
I see you don't have my dot on your map, I'm in the northernmost of Norway, well above the polar circle. At the moment we worry about volcanic ash from Iceland.
ReplyDeleteI love your robots soo much! (and all the others too, for fairness sake)
Howdy from Austin, Texas!
ReplyDeleteIf I only have time to read one or two blogs a day, I always read Ric Rac. It always makes me smile - I love the stories :) I'm one of the dots in the southeast corner of the USA, on a mountain in North Carolina. Not near the ocean, but on the Eastern Continental Divide, where a message in a bottle dropped in a river on the west side travels to the Mississippi River and down to the Gulf of Mexico, and one put in a river on the east side sails out to the Atlantic Ocean.
ReplyDeleteWishing for a pattern here in DeKalb IL. USA
ReplyDeleteI see you are giving the world measles! I am just across the ocean in Wellington, New Zealand - no lions, zebras or boats in the middle of the ocean just suburbia and feral teenagers.
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and frequently use it when I want to be inspired to craft. I'm from Ontario, Canada. Please enter me in your contest!
I really do live in a place known as The Little Red Dot - Singapore. I SO miss all the craft and quilt shows. Alison
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how to make the tea pot and cups.Too Cute!!
ReplyDeleteHi from North Carolina, USA!
ReplyDeleteOoooooh - twist my arm to enter :)
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and LOOOOVE your outlook on the world!! That can't be me in the raft, 'cuz I live high in Colorado w/no navigable water in sight, darn it. If you find a little red marker all alone on the High Prairies, surrounded by yucca plants and waving brown grass, that would be me.--Jeanne H.
ReplyDeleteHi from another UK dot - looks like you get a lot from Europe! Loved the two dots in the ocean!! I can just imagine a big dot appearing in the sky totally covering a tiny little island... te he!
ReplyDeleteSleepless Sewer in Seattle, okay not gramatically correct but the best I can do on little sleep! I'd love some new patterns to keep me up after the kids go to bed! I love your work.
ReplyDeletePortland, Oregon, USA!! Where it rains enough to feel like we'll soon be part of the sea.
ReplyDeleteWisconsin USA - bandljamison@gmail.com
