Loving the tea party theme.
Will there be a mad hatter? Or will that part be played by a mild mannered librarian with a secret desire to don an enormous patchwork top hat?

Ooooh that's a bit of a precarious spot for them with a bloke and kids in your house!
On second thoughts.... they're not likely to try to wash the dishes are they?

Ooohh! I love it!

Fancy pants aren't you?? Wow, can't wait for the entire set to come together. The detail Jodie, DETAIL!! I'm making quilted coasters tonight, NOTHING like this amazing work. Acutally if you have a chance, did an amusing post, think you'll like it. Love Posie

Do you know, it is almost worth getting married again so that I can put this dinner service on my gift list!

Somebody bring me my coffee!! I looked at those and thought how sweet they were, but it didn't click why they weren't dishwasher safe until I scrolled down and saw the teacups again! Guess I'm not quite awake yet...

Six sticky spoons,
Five french forks,
Four fly swats,
Three sharp knives,
Two slow cookers and a
Melting chopping board thrown under the pear tree.

Love them, can't wait to see the cups. They are fabulous!

Be careful Jod, you don't want to have to get a new dishwasher too!!!!

I reckon they'd probably survive the dishwasher. Quality craftsmanship & all that.

PS: Thought about making man woman but the word just doesn't work as well for me. x

A quick glance certainly can't tell they're not the real deal - well done! I love your creative photography too!

How do you find the time for all this cuteness! If they were pinned in place, I bet they would wash just fine.

could you make a cute little bottle..shove in a bit of your energy and mad skills and send it to me. i could use a little of your creative juice! i can't wait to see the whole reveal!!

If you leave one on a flat surface, someone will set their full cup on it - you know that, don't you? So cute!

Griffin said...

Drat! Julie got there first!! :)

Er, you need to do a cake. You can't have tea without cake, it's not natural!... at least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

If that's the saucers then I can't wait to see the cups!
