Bus stop - weekend

Small-Bot thought about the girl at the bus stop all weekend.

He thought about her when he was cleaning.
He thought about her when he was cooking.
He even thought about her when he and Cat-Bot were relaxing.

  2. Cooking? Cleaning? Crafting? Small-bot is hot. He's totally my kind of guy ... though I fear its a bit late. He seems quite sweet on that girl (and is probably not in the market for a Wide-bot).

PS. I can't imagine what tiny scale you were knitting on. Its amazing!! I hope you had your glasses on!

  5. The knitting scene is my favourite so far - how wonderful when your antennae can double as a yarn winder - multi purpose at it's best. Hope Bus stop girl knows a good Bot when she sees one.

  6. I wonder if he'd think about her if he was going on school camp?

  7. Can't get her off his mind? Hmmm ... Small Bot, perhaps it is simple old hormonal lust rather than true love?

  8. Small-Bot sounds like my perfect man. Do you have his phone number?

  9. Um, Jod...Put me out of my misery will you? Small-Bot will eventually come over all romance-like and make a move, won't he? You have to make him make a move! Promise?

  10. Look out Small Bot, you have quite an array of admirers! You are everything a bot should be, and more. Is your dream girl worth it? Does she even know you exist? Or maybe there is someone closer to home who you may have overlooked? Hmmmmm.....xo

  11. Hey, for someone who doesn't knit, Bot's scarf is pretty impressive! Didn't get it from you, eh? LOL

  13. They live in such a lovely cosey home too. So nice and cosey the two of them. A third one would really fit in, I would think.

  16. Wow my favourite kind of bot, one who knits. I have been loving these posts, like reading a storybook isnt it.

  17. Absolutely fabulous as always Jodie! The photo at the end with small bot using catbot's ears to wind his wool made me laugh out loud! I was trying to wind wool yesterday using Alfie-bunny's run thingummy but it didn't work and Dot had to stop doing her homework to help me.

Meanwhile we have been having some heated family discussions about whether to send Fred to Australia to live with you but although we were all very tempted by my clever idea of doing an exchange for Smallbot, we eventually decided that we would rather like to keep Fred here - although we nearly cracked when considering Smallbot's domesticity. Thank goodness I hadn't realised he could knit before I made my decision!

  21. I think that Bus Stop girls antennae must be buzzing! all this talk around her, Small-Bot has all of us giving him encouragement to talk to her and ask her out. How about a take away cup of coffee while they wait for the bus?
On the edge of my seat here....

  28. Oh my, it just keeps getting better and better ... if Girl-bot was petting Cat-bot to get Small-bot's attention, then how does Cat-Bot feel now? I hope he is totally included in the plans these two Bots have in mind - - whatever that might be ...

  29. oh Jode, You are making me do some very odd squealy/aww noises.
It's all in the props, bots house remeinds me very much of Paddington Bear's. Remember the time he wallpapered himself into the bedroom? Oh guffaw!
Ah, what I wouldn't give for that weekend loved/lusted up feeling right now! Go small bot! (but keep an eye on that cat bot, I'm noticing some chemistry there too!)

  34. Oh Cat-bot, you are just too cute. If you ever fancy seeing the world you can come and live with me in London.

  35. Dearheart, you need to make this into a kid's book!

Unless it gets saucy, of course!

  36. I hope I'm not jumping the gun but I love a wedding.

  38. I love how each creation of yours is a fully-realized character, with a backstory and a future!

  39. Cat-bot looks concerned. He's aware that Small-bot is not acting normally. Take time to pet the cat, Small-bot. He will always love you, but we women can be fickle!

I like how he keeps music playing in the background even while he's vacuuming.

  40. Jodie - You are brilliant. Hilarious. It's strangely moving. Though I had a pang for cat-bot...they're not married, of course? Please? Cat-bot works. Are they roommates? Because...you know...if small bot is a lovely guy who's simply unhappy with cat-bot...oh, my broken heart....

  41. Bus stop,wet day, she's there I say
    Please share my umbrella
Bus stop, bus go, she stays love grows
    Under my umbrella

    'Bus Stop' The Hollies
(from the stone age as my daughter would say)

This little series really reminded me of that song - hope it's got as happy an outcome!!
