I didn't realise how many people have yet to make the acquaintance of Mr Gocco, the little blue machine in the previous post. There is heaps of info about him online (Just search Gocco) .
Rumour has it that a camcorder will be making its appearance at our house for a birthday in Mid - January so maybe I'll do a little video of Gocco in action ? Yes?

It'll be just like Martha Stewart, there will be stylists and camera crews and sound people, there will be make-up artists and security and finished products prepared earlier.....
Or just me and the teenager if I can convince him to help, the kitchen bench and a whole lot of reality !

Hi Jodie, just discovered your blog and I really relate to alot of what you say in previous posts. You're so cool!! Thanks for being out there in blog land, I now realise I'm not the only 38&1/2 year old who loves to sew toys and crafts almost every day (even with a 10 week old baby, it keeps me sane!) So thanks and look forward to reading more. Tamara

ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteHi, i'm new to your blog too, how do you do Jodie?? What a top idea, your postcards are simple ace. I'm a non Gocco person, so will hastily watch your blog posts for more clues. Until then, Happy New Year to you & have a fabulous school holidays out of the library. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteTheyare totally cool. Love them. Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cool! I cannot wait for this gocco business to be explained a bit more... maybe we are on the saem wavelength at the moment... what with the embroidery of little notes to friends... yours are quite simply divine!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Jodie,
ReplyDeleteSInce your last post I have been googling about the machine. Questions: Can you re use the bulbs - or do they only have one life span. Are the bulbs expensive? Easy to get? IS the paints/inks fabric wash safe? Is that screen thingo that you use to make the master permanent forever once done? OR do you 'erase' previous use and do another master? I am guessing this machine really does not have its uses if you are really only doing a couple of copies.
Okay I am trying to NOT be tempted to buy one!
Way cool!
ReplyDeleteSounds fab Jod. Oh how I wish I had a Gocco Machine! Sniff! Locket xxx
ReplyDeleteI love, love the postcards! Happy new year!

ReplyDeleteI found a Gocco on Freecycle ... and it came with inks and screens and all this good stuff. The only thing I have had to buy thus far are new bulbs. Boo yah!
