I'm hoping like hell that he is just resting while on his way to some kind of happiness. As Kate said we missed you yesterday Jodie! Hope to see you soon xo
I think he is off onto a awesome adventure ... no more waiting around for life to happen, he's going to go out & find out whats out there in his own sure way!! No more doubting, second guessing, humming and ha-ing... You go Ernst...ooh and dont forget to send me a postcard.
Thank you Ernst - you are a insperation {hope u dont mind but I printed out your photo & have stuck it next to my computer at work - no one else gets it, but its okay I do ..}
Both me and my daughter of 7 and my son of 11, who have a turtle, are very worried about what is going to happen to Ernst. We are anxious to see his next move and are crossing our fingers for a happy end!
I want to get on a plane. Come over there, and search the streets for Ernst. Adopt him and take him home, where there will be a little room waiting for him. The kids will even let him play on the Wii. I just cant bear to see his forlorn little figure!!
Oh Jodie! Okay something in the letter that upset him... Someone or something is missing him terribly and wants to see him... So it not such a sad movie - he is just taking a rest 'by the creek' on his long journey to see this special person... Poor turtle cannot move very fast!
As you know he is welcome for some rest here on his way...
Ernst, I've been following your journey, and just want to let you know you're not alone. If you wanna come by my place, we'll give you a hot meal and a bed - and a swim if you need it.
Ernst's angst. Try saying that 10 times...so forlorn! Guess what arrived in the mail today? Thank you so much for my little care package...I'll be writing soon!
Please stop, I don't know how much more of Ernst I can see before my heart breaks!! This feels like a really sad movie....great directing!

ReplyDeleteDear Ernst,
ReplyDeleteI hope you make it wherever you are headed safe and sound. But I worry about you, please be safe.

ReplyDeleteOver hill, over dale
Thorough darkness,
Thorough sunlight pale
Whither this lone turtle
From the back of beyond
To hither an' yon?
Be safe, be well Ernst.
