I just love a happy ending! Thanks, Jodie, this has been fun. Can't wait to see what you come up with next! Enjoy these last few days before real life hits on Wednesday.
OH MY GOSH! That last shot actually made me gasp!! And bought a tear to my eye. Jodie you are so very clever. have you written a book? Because you should!
I had an emotional tear, but it turned to a tear from pissing myself when I read Kim's comment - why a tray?? The both of you with your way too cleverness get me.
Jodie, I don't know where you get it but man, you got it.
Thanks for taking us all on this wonderful journey with Ernst, I hope this isn't really the end, just the end of part one. By the way, what is the name of Ernst's little lady?
Oh, have I told you lately that you're BRILLIANT???? :-)
Jodie, you're killing me! What a story! Thank you! Thank you! What amazing turtles! When I was a little girl, my favorite stuffed animal was this ratty old turtle called Terry. He didn't have half as cute eyes as Ernst, though!
Sooz - the 'kill you with a tray' comment has long-standing history between me and Blackbird (do you guys know/read Blackbird? She is a LEGEND). Anyway, it's from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv5iEK-IEzw
It's take a very special turtle to admit he's wrong. Awwwwwwwwww...such a sweet story and I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Or perhaps he just missed her cooking? :o)
Oh I gasped when I saw that last pic, then I cried a little. How do you make your little creatures actually come to life? Why am I crying about a little turtle who finally found his way home??? Thanks so much for sharing this Jodie. I've said it before, I'll say it again, you seriously need to put that into a book xx
I cried! Do you realise how amazing and clever yu are to make people so teary over a few pictures, I just ove them... i ma premenstral but I reckon I still would have cried! xx
The teacher in me would so love to turn this into a children's book! Love it! Vista are doing great little flip photo books, would be very cute as one of these...even in the small free flip book vrsion, just for fun. If you can't be bothered throw them on disk and I'll whip it up for you! -consider it a belated 40th presssie!Love Tracey
The perfect ending to the story........ and a perfect opening for the next one, lol. The wedding, aaahhh, can you imagine our little Ernst in a tux with his beautiful bride by his side? Oh and the honeymoon..............
Oh that was just fabulous! Have thoroughly enjoyed watching Ernst's adventures, you really REALLY need to get these put into a book. My niece and nephew would love it.
Who would have thought that a turtle named Ernst would have had me checking my computer daily to see how it all ends!? I'm so happy for the little guy, and Jodie you are so awesome!! And don't let anyone tell you you should be doing anything else! You rock! Oh and you so could write a book played out with your fabulous softies!!
YES!!! A Happy Ending. I was soooo worried about Ernst - thought about offering him a home for a while until he could get his affairs sorted. I'm glad he is settled and safe again.
I've loved following this story. I was looking at this ending and thinking aawwww, how sweet, and then I saw that one word, I instantly had tears in my eyes. Such a powerful word and yet we don't use it often enough.
