Winnie and Pip: Horsing around

When they are not saving lives,
Winnie and Pip are roping steers and riding their wild brumbies (taffy and Starlight) throught the wide open plains.
( cue odd fact: Did you know I am a 'horsey' person? I grew up with horses and lived on horsback for years. Back in the youthful days of invincibility I jumped things and chased things and took my horse to parties with me... I was a hoon on horseback)

  4. ... and you're still horsing around! We had a horse in Tassie; her name was Annie (short for Antiquity) and she was adorable. Rosy loved riding; I went on her once and she moved and I shrieked and that was the end of my dreams of riding. Pete and I were pony club parents - it was all lots of fun. Your girls and their horsies are SO gorgeous, Jod.

  7. Awwwwwwwwww... I love those little stick horses. I too was on a horse a lot as a child. In fact, I was "riding" before I could walk.

  10. One of things my daughter is going to hold against me (for the rest of her life) is that she never had a rocking horse... She wanted one of those great big ones, like you see in stately homes. Funnily enough, we don't live in a stately home ;-)

  11. Love this pattern Jodie. Another one NOT to show my children. The hobby horses are wonderful, both of my children have loved running up and down the corridor on our beautiful wooden pony (and denting the walls but don't tell Dad!!)
Winnie and Pip are sure to become favourites as soon as my two see them.

  16. I still have my stick pony from childhood. His name was trusty steed and then later, I named my bicycle the same thing! Love your dolls!

  17. Love the photo of you Jod - Sars thought you looked just the same!

  18. I had a struggle learning to ride...a bicycle! The only time I was on horseback I was overcome by the sense of it's raw power and strength. So I had to get off and apologise for being so presumptuous as to think I could ride it.

Waal, ain't you the cowgal?! You look very sweet...and slightly worried. Did you get caught?!

  22. Oh my... tis not the little pony riding extraordianaire's that I am in love with, but rather the 'saving lives' nursing gals. I am a RN and would just love to have these two for my very own. x
