Today was awesome !!
Awesome kids made awesome toys with awesome helpers in an awesome setting.
We laughed, we made fart jokes and might have worn our unstuffed toys as masks.
I recommend all of the above.
And they all look like they enjoyed everying second! Great job encouraging the next generation of softie makers.
They are fantastic. well done to the kids, helpers and you.
I can totally see you doing all of that. Just like Urban Stitches really ;)
P.S. So when would you like to come to Wellington to teach some classes ;0)
Oh, do come to London and teach a class! I can provide plenty of nine year olds with their fair share of farty comments ;-)
These are adorable!!
Do you have this pattern for sale? I would love to use it with my own kids sewing classes!
Fart jokes are not just for 8 year olds! :o) They all did an amazing job.
Oh what fun! Great results too, Jod - and you just can't beat a good fart joke!
They are all amazeballs! And, is it me or do all those softies look very much like their creators? You know, like the dog looks like his owner kind of thing?
amazing guys what a good job you have done, great teaching Jodie.xx
looks like you all had a fantastic day...well done kids, and well done Jods!
Beautiful work! They should be so proud of themselves. I teach kids to quilt. After a week they have a lap quilt to cuddle under. The smiles on the last day go from ear to ear.
havin a gas!I want that penguin.speaks volumes to your pattern skillz and your teaching skillz what high quality toys they've made! Rock on.
Wow these kids have great sewing skills. Must have a good teacher.
So sad we couldnt make it. I kept looking on their website for the dates and etc and never saw it! Bummer...
Will you be my teacher? Us class clowns must stick together. Good job on them!
Sounds like a super awesome day! Love the penguin and duck balls in particular!
Just too cute for words. Well done to the kids! Awesome sauce! :)
My daughter loved the penguin when she walked into the room as I was reading this post. Do you sell these patterns or kits anywhere. She is wonderful at sewing and would love to make one.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! Those are adorable creations in the hands of new sewers!! There is hope in the world...the bells are ringing... ;p
You really are amazing. How wonderful young blood.
So cool my kids would love to make some of those one day. Those kids did a brilliant job. Must have been a brilliant teacher.
absolutely stunning! A great job everyone, what a good teacher you are.
So good! How do I find out about these classes?I know a couple a gils who would love a bit of all of the above.x
What clever students you have Jodie. I love all those softies.
I totally agree with Gillian's comment, they are uncannily like their creators! Those young people look so happy, you are a very talented and perceptive teacher.
Thanks Jodie we had an awesome day, Keira's duck hasn't left her sight, or bed! He has travelled around and been introduced to everyone and all agree he is adorable! He now has a Owl playmate, with many more friends arriving soon! Thanks again for re-inspiring the softie in us, we can't wait till next school holidays to see you again and continue to be inspired! Mill Rose Cottage is a Beautiful place to inspire our children, and nurture our addictions!!
Fabulous! Love them. Need the patterns!Well done you.
Totally awesome you need to do a kids class in Sydney. I'm pretty sure I know three girls without even thinking who would do the class
WOOHOO!!! looks like so much fun!
What fantastic creations and creators! xx
Hmm, Angry Birds softies maybe?! These boids look very cheerful. I hope it was them doing the farts and not the kids! If you're not careful, you'll end up a teacher for real and then you'll be sorry!! Or at least someone will. :)
Brilliant! Well done all of you! Once word spreads amongst their friends, I'm sure you'll find you have more days spent stitching/teaching your clever designs (those birds are so cute, btw), while laughing and telling fart jokes. ;o) Kids must love you, Jodie!
