some days.... (apologies to Mr Denver)

Some days are diamonds

Some days are stone

Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone

Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones

some days are diamonds

and some days I want to stab unsuspecting strangers in the forehead with my quick un-pick

Its nothing personal of course.

The label... oh the label just says it all.

Hehe, I've just this minute put down my reverse sewing implement, I was sorely tempted to chuck it in the fire! Then common sense took hold, plastic-fire-environment.......sigh, it's in the drawer for next time....

That is the best label for a blog post EVER!

I hope you don't fly much... sewing implements should be considered a hazard!! ;) Hope the S$&#'s don't take long to go away! ;)

Oh, we have days like that here too. Just remember that tomorrow is another day *breathe* xxx

Well, I say stab 'em! They probably deserve it and if they are unsuspecting, it will be even more fun. Then hit the wine.

... I'll be keeping my distance then... hope tomorrow is a better day!

Oh I hear your pain.
Mmmm..interesting idea ...quick un-pick

Perhaps a little meditation on that tin of pretty flowers is in order...

together with consumption of all the things we have discussed contribute to our respective afflictions..

Unsuspecting... of the fact that they are the problem? Stab 'em.

You didn't say innocent strangers!!

Better days, I wish you better days.

Cheers,

Don't apologise to Mister Denver, he should be grateful for that fantastic lyric amendment.

Some days I just want to stab unsuspecting strangers in the head with my quick unpick.

Genius.

Hope tomorrow is a diamond day for you though Cxx

Oh how I love reading your blog ;0)

I think I may have blacked out and done exactly that earlier in the week. I've been puzzling how both my quick unpicks (including the fairly new and very expensive clover one) seem to have lost their end points (both of them snapped clean off), but now I think I may know what happened. Somewhere there is someone (or maybe even 2 people) with head wounds and foreign bodies under the skin. Just call me Tara...

Man.....I know the feeling.

I say let 'em have it! (And thanks for the brilliant idea with the unpicker.) I've been feeling much the same way lately -- and for the first time ever, it's been someone(s) close to me. Not a happy feeling!

You need to run over to the Keep Calm sign generator and make one that says "Keep Calm and Stab 'em with the Quick Pick"!!!

PMT? We all have days like this, we just don't put it as eloquently as you do :o)

ROFLOL! Yes, indeed!

You call that an un-pick? I call it a seam ripper which seems to be more in keeping with the spirit of the thing. But then, I suspect you are a somewhat gentler soul than I.

I love you! You make me laugh.

Oh dear, one of THOSE days, eh? I know the feeling, but I can't say I've ever been able to describe it quite so poetically! Hope things brighten up soon.

I know exactly how you feel and this post made me laugh out loud. The thought of un picking anything puts me in a bad mood. Cheer up!

I would imagine that that is a very satisfying implement, just ask my youngest son who used one to make some beautiful long tears in my leather bed base!!! I have hidden mine since and now can't find it....that may be a good thing not having it close at hand ;-)

Leigh said...

Could have used mine on Barbara from Bank World last week! Lol.

Adele said...

Geez you make me laugh! I know how you feel sometimes! Hope the violent mood wears off soon. x

I snorted with laughter just now. Snorted. Loudly. And maybe peed a little. And then had to explain both issues to my husband.

Totally get it - I often meet people who I wish to stab in the eye but a pen is my weapon of choice. One day.....
