Being a grown-up sucks......

Because being a grown up means you have to know when you are too sick to actually do something you really want to do - Like go to the Quilt and Craft show tomorrow.

At the moment I could not walk down an aisle without needing to pause and sit down.
An elephant is sitting on my chest and there is a steel ball rolling around inside my head - Right now the only thing not hurting is my eyelashes !

Normally I'm a concret pills kind of girl - take two and harden the hell up ! But no amount of self-talk or fabric promises will get this body out of bed and on that train tomorrow.
Sorry.

Gosh you must be sick.

Hope you feel better soon and you have given your co-travellers big shopping lists.

Ohhh Nooooo! I hope you get better very very soon. I'm not going either because there'll be too many sick people who WILL still go along.
You're a very sensible woman.

Poor wee thing. Bed, with plenty of water to keep you hydrated... and also so that you'll sprout leaves and maybe even a flower or two.

Hope you're well quicker than soon. There will be another time... and you'll look back fondly at it and say, 'We'll always have Ballarat.'

Man you must be feeling unwell, even your hair has gone a different colour!

May the elephant roll away on the steel ball sharpish.

Poor cookie. Hope the rest of the household are clued up to the (obvious) seriousness of the situation and come running to peel your grapes at the merest tinkling of the bell...

Commisserations. Same deal here *cough cough*. I was super grown up and stayed home Tuesday and then convinced myself I could go on. Clearly have more growing up to do because by the time I staggered home from work yesterday it was straight to bed at 6pm! And today the laptop caught the virus and now it's dead too. Bring on summer!

Sounds hideous.

Gee, you really don't look yourself at all. You seriously should go to a doctor for that.

Feel better soon.

And tell your family people on the internet demand they look after you!! Scary people!?
