Monty and Pearl

Just before the weekend went right down the sewing gurgler,

Monty and his dear wife Pearl were finished,

Two and quarter inches of instant cheer.

Sweet, sweet sweet - I mean Monty and Pearl, Jodie, not you (though you are too, of course, she added hastily).

Their little arms are reaching out as if to say, 'Pick me, Pick me!'.
They remind me a little of Wombles for some reason! Gorgeous. x

True story - on Friday, I asked my husband for an idea for a new softie. he said "make a hedgehog". I quickly put it to the "too hard basket" because of the spiky backs.

You've got them spot on! Well done.

And speaking as a lady, I think that 2 and quater inches is more than enough to bring some happiness

Monty and Pearl are absolutely adorable. They do look vaguely familiar .... but they were probably flat out when I last saw them.

After your last post we all knew something was a'brewing - so I have been keeping my eye out. Who would have thunk it - fur fabric makes for perfect hedgehog spines: loving 'em to bits and pieces...

I didn't know that the way to tell girl hedge-hogs from boy hedge-hogs was by the little pink flower on the girl! It's like watchign the Nature Chanel. Thank you.
PS: you do make the happiest looking little critters.
