I get by with a little help from my friends

My dearest friends John and Betty came over today. They're not married, in fact I am not even sure they knew each other before today, they are just the sweetest most selfless people, not to mention versatile and good for you.

As a result , the impending visitors will be greeted with muffins

Mr Ric-rac has marinated calamari for dinner

and I got to spend an inordinate amount of time fiddling with this

and experimenting with the worst kept secret in blogland.

I wonder if I can convince them to visit everyday?

  12. I wish Betty would come to mine. I think I'll invite her. John is often at mine, he brings canned tuna mostly.

WHAT IS THIS SHOP I HAVE MISSED BEFORE???????????? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN????? Oh poo. I have no money in my bank/paypal/credit card. I'd better get hawking my wares so I can get me a doll (I wonder if standing on a street corner would bring the wrong kind of attention? Worth a try I'd say!)

  32. I have just been to your etsy shop and read all about your little doll pickles. I nearly wet my pants giggling... You would have to be the most humour**s (funny) person I have met in crafty blog land. I love it...just what I needed. Being a mum makes me far too serious and boring sometimes...
    Thanks for brightening my day.

  33. Oh my goodness. That Milly dolly is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen (or heard - she can't half talk a lot!). What a shame to have missed that going on sale. My DD would have loved it, especially the fishies dress. Just too cute.
