ten sleeps

There are ten sleeps until I head off to Minneapolis for Spring Market. Did I tell you that Mr Ric Rac is coming along ? I can't help a little sneaky smirk as I type this. He has NO IDEA !!! I keep trying to warn him of the magnitude of the whole event, and the squealiness of the blog friends and the feeling of  exhaustion/exciting and the hit-the-ground-running nature of things.

When I told him today that I was excited to be getting into Minneapolis at 3pm because that meant I would be able to go to Joann's to get some stuffing and stuff some cushions on the first night - he honestly thought I was joking.

I also told him about the strange toilets, the upside down light switches and Maple Bacon flavoured milkshakes. He assured me he would take it all in his stride.

I'll keep you posted.

  2. He'll be fine - and so will you. I would like to be there though when he realises what a ton of stuffing looks like. Best of luck with everything and have fun.

  3. It sounds like it will be a big learning curve for him but you'll be there to guide him every step (or stride) of the way.

  13. Weird toilets? I know the food is weird, super-sized and full of sugar, so maple bacon milkshakes do not surprise me (I would still have to have no other options and be starving to have one), but what is with the toilets?

  21. Hi Jodes, first Mr RicRac has to endure The Flight! Everything after that would have to be considered a doddle.
I can't wait for your fabric to hit the shelves. For a first timer, it is looking remarkably fabulous. And your dolly panels!!!!!! :)
We look forward to the Stories from Over the Seas!

  23. I hope you both have an absolutely wonderful time!

Hubby and I spent a week in Minneapolis last spring and I can't say the toilets looked any different but then I'm from North America. Makes one wonder what toilets look like downunder that make ours seem strange?! lol.
