Baptism of Fire

Well, co-hosting ( with Gillian) a bit of hijinkery the day before returning to work tuned out to be the best idea ever ! Forty-nine crafters came along and joined in. We had mini- workshops, yummy food and oodles of door prizes. Much better than sitting at home getting my knickers in a twist.

The hall was great in that daggy kind of 70's way. Plenty of room, plenty of light.

And then it was back to work and school concert - a week of mammoth proportions that passed in the blink of eye. I now have two weeks holiday and as of yesterday, a new computer !!!!! ( Yes pity the hundreds I spent in a vain attempt to fix the old one) I have so many new patterns queued up, I am going to chain myself to that computer and get it all done. I am so ridiculously excited about that shiny black box I can't tell you.

And I might enjoy a spot of holiday reading as well.

  5. so they kept all the new books to catalogue for your return?!

congrats on the new shiny box.

and the hijinks. I want craftyhijinks! and a daggy hall.

Scuse me, I'm going to go sulk or have a tantrum or something..... (I do have Glasgow School of Yarn, but I don't have the energy for hijinks, all goes to staying vertical and relatively coherent for 2 days)

  14. Failing computers are a huge crisis! Several years ago I would have never thought it would have mattered if I didn't have a working computer. :o) Happy Reading and enjoy your break.

  16. It looked like so much fun. I had to stop myself from commenting too much on IG as I kinda felt a bit stalker-ish.
