Hot pink Hello's

School concert, which has occupied almost every waking moment for the last ten weeks is over. By all accounts everything went well and the kids had a ball. Even though I loved every minute of it, I must say I am so glad it is all over.

I am taking a leaf out of my friend Annie's book and I am making a new dressing gown these holidays. Then I am going to put it on and go into the sewing room....... I plan to spend as much time in there as possible working on about half a zillion things.

So pop in by all means, just don't get too distressed by the HOT PINK chenille former bedspread gown , bed hair , bra-less bag lady look I am currently working will you ?

  6. I think the look you describe is not only acceptable, but to be encouraged when one is on holidays. Please make sure you are also wearing the regulation bed sock footwear.

    Happy holidays to you!!

  9. Wow. You make holidays at home sound fantabulous! Not sure about the bra-less thing though, it just doesn't work for me. If I'm 36 now, I hate to imagine what they'll be like when I'm 60!!!

  10. I love my jammies and robe. I could live in them and sew all day long. Enjoy your hot pink chenille and days of endless, fun sewing.

  11. Glad to hear the concert went well and now you can have some real ME time.

Personally, I think the bra-less bag lady look is so under rated. It makes one feel... well, relaxed!!
    Enjoy your holidays Jodie.

  17. Only half a zillion things - I think you might be taking things a bit too easy these holidays! Have a great break - you deserve it. P.S. Hot pink chenille is the new black - go with it!
