That first photo he is saying 'Oh not another fashion shoot. Can't you just talk to my manager?'!!! Great work. I bet smelly old dog is extremely appreciative.
I love that you have done this. I love it for purely selfish reasons of course. My old stinky dog needs a coat too, bless his little white socks and his $1000 ear, and my Aunt has given me an old blanket with which to make said coat. Now I can steal design ideas of you... shhhh....
He's gorgeous! I want to hug him! Even if he is stinky. My smelly old dog can't tell the difference between beef jerky and imitation leather and promptly destroyed the smart jacket we got him this year. Maybe he'd prefer a needlefelted one...?
aww bless.. my parents just got a new puppy.. a little Sckipperke (sp? sounds like skipper key) named Drake.. their dog Hunter died last month and we were all very upset, I still feel quite sad even thoughw e only see them once or twice a year now... a few months ago in deep winter snow my parents found a little Dashound puppy that somone had chucked out of the car, thats all we can think it is because they are too rural with too many predators (wolves, coyotes, moose, bear, eagles, owls etc) for her to have escaped.. she was half frozen but my parents nursed her back to health, H fell totally in love with her when we visited in April and i think both of thier hearts were broken when we had to come home again.
Awww - being Mum to a stinky old dog meself I can quite understand the need to snuggle the stinky one up in a nice cuddly coat -'cept our stinky pooch has the thickiest curliest coat you ever did see and would expire from heat exhaustion even in our firgid Northern Hemishere winters should I ever be tempted to clothe her in such cuddlesome attire.
Hi, I am Jodie Carleton. I started this blog in 2007 and somehow a tiny business grew from it. So now when I am not at my regular job I can be found happily making toys in my sewing room or swearing at the computer as I try and write the patterns. I am obsessed with foxes, pinnochio, Red Riding Hood and mechanical toys- actually pretty much any toys.
Say Hi if you have time, feel free to email me with any questions you have, I'm always happy to procrastinate by answering emails.

Stinky old dog looks nice and cozy in the new jumper and probably doesn't care that it's not tailored to perfection!

Smelly dog looks SO sad in the first photo. I hope the jacket has made his heart happy.
The dog needs it.... freezing. Maybe our kids could make the rabbit one on the weekend?

Aawww... stinky dog - I think I love you. Who could resist that old hound dog face?

Now that's a great dog jacket. I've got to make a few new ones for my little dog for this winter.
What - no applique to brighten the coat??? Love the jacket and I can't believe your old dog would be smelly. Surely not.....vbg.
At least stinky old dog looks much happier!
Just don't end up in jail, please dear Martha of Stinky-Dog Land. I'd miss you.
Oh my...what a face. I instantly fell in love.
Ah, you just reminded me I needed to make my puppy a new winter coat. Off to the opshop for a wool jumper!
Thanks :)

Go Martha, but surely there could have been a token selvedge trim............
Oh bless! What a sweet face!
aw, sweet old (warm) doggie : )
You made me laugh out loud with the the Martha reference. Sweet doggie... I'm glad he/she is warm(er). Has a grateful look on his/her face, too.
You see the dog and the dog see you. God bless the dog and God bless you!
