I have lived in open plan houses and I concur. Being able to shut doors is a wonderful thing. Sue's just being super optimistic. Mess, no matter how creative and colourful, is still mess. I live in a large house and mess expands to fill the space!
BA HA HA! Thanks for being brave enough to share. I finally sorted the "box of doom" over the past two weekends - found birthday cards from 2 years ago, and the ultrasound report from when I was pregnant with Maddie LOL Think we need that sign that says "I'm not a hoarder, I just need a bigger craftroom!" Although I suspect that no matter the size things would still end up looking like that!
Having built a craft shed on the back of our property so that the craft doesn't encroach on the living and family space we only have room on our three seater couch for one bum!! So even doors wouldn't help me. But it was worth a try I guess. :)
I have an open plan sewing room! I only have a wall and a half to utilize and no closet! But it's downstairs near the kitchen and living room so I can still spend time with my hubby :)
If you lived in an open plan house it could ALL look like that!
ReplyDeleteBecause of all the wonderful bright colours it still looks fantastic!
Amen. Both room doors and cupboard doors (even if opening said cupboard doors brings it all crashing on my head).
ReplyDeleteNeither would I! Lol
ReplyDeleteamazing! I love this post, it makes me feel like I am not the only one with a creative mess ;)
ReplyDeleteThis made me feel like I was at home. Thank you :)
