I am not really here- Saturday sale

In actual fact I am mid-Saturday so that means visiting, sewing, gardening ( Annieflowergarden just passed out) and all sorts of busy stuff.
This morning I went to visit my friend Morgan at The Crafty Squirrel to help celebrate Small Business Day. I fell in love with this sample of an embroidered brooch so bought myself a little kit by dandelyne -
And I bought you guys one as well.
I thought I might join in the fun and am having a sale in my big cartel shop for the rest of the weekend, the code verysmallbusiness will get you 20% off all patterns and creative cards. ( yes the giraffe and elephant are there too)
So, what would you embroider in your little brooch kit?
A winner will be picked tomorrow and I'll send them a little Crafty Squirrel pack of goodies.
Now, back to Saturday.....

  1. I do like the bunting. Or maybe a granny square?

  5. Hmm, I like the bunting but I'd love to have a crack at little Chinese/Japanese lanterns. And I reckon you'd stitch teeny tiny undies!

  7. I think I would sew small balloons, and if they didn't work well, I would change to good old flowers.

  9. A rainbow love heart. Fish 'n' Chips has now come to me for the kids to make a Christmas, along with bits and pieces from the Crafty Squirrel. Annieflowergarden has also been visited and husband supported at the plant show (both with coffees) , and kids ferried everywhere. My Saturday is done!

  10. The Bunting does look good, but I also like the idea of a bird on a branch, or actually, a camera. :-)

I would do a dragon or a lalaloopsy doll (chances are it would disappear into miss smalls room anyway!).
I love the bunting sample through that is so brilliant and I would love one of these kits. Think I better go shopping.

  16. I would have to put a happy Daisy on mine. Love the nesting animals. They would make a great gift for two small ones in my life.

  17. I think some sort of bird - or two - maybe on a wire. Having said all that I am not the world's best embroiderer so it might turn into something a little different!

  23. I would like to see an owl. Cute idea.

  24. I would probably embroider a needle and thread.
What I really need is a reason (such as a new baby) for me to buy the hippo, elephant, giraffe and fish and chips patterns I so desperately want.

  25. Why mess with perfection, the bunting is adorable!

  26. I would embroider either balloons or bunting; this way with lots of colour I can wear it with anything.
I think they are great. Thanks

  27. It wouldn't be me if it didn't have a cat, or two, on it. Great idea, will have to visit there when over in November.

  28. Oh that's easy - a little owl. Cause I'm kinda into them and think it would be be-hoot-iful!!

  29. Probably nothing for months and months and months.

If I won, I would be super-excited and put the kit away in a safe spot until I'd decided (finally) what the very best possible use for it would be. At which stage I would discover that my safe spot was so safe that I'd forgotten where it was.

Then, one day, while hunting for something else, I'd discover the kit, remind myself that I'd decided what I was going to do with it and put it aside until I'd remembered what that was. By which stage...

    ;-)
