When you decide to make eight “Little Red” dolls. It might be wise to bone up on your math.
Eight Little Red’s mean 40 mushroom tops and 40 mushroom stalks
Eight Little Red’s also mean approx 160 French knots.
Eight “Little Red’s” also means 96 little teensy eyes on little teensy shoes
I haven’t even started on the vegies.
Is there going to be a "Little Red" story? Can't wait to see if she meets up with Baxter. And no, I don't seem to have a life.
ReplyDeletewho's a silly ric rac then..??? :o)

You lost me at 160 french knots...oh the horror!!! probably not a good idea for me to do the maths first I'd run screaming...in the other direction!
ReplyDeletevery, very cute
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I refuse to do maths. Ignorance is bliss ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe French knots I'd be happy with, but those eyelets...they are a different story.
We all knew you were special. Cherrie
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the post title I knew it'd be good!
ReplyDeleteveggies? you need a sous-chef.

COBBLERS!
You may have to hire in help , as you do .
ReplyDeleteHaaaha! You kill me... It is not always so much fun to be a perfectionist.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh...the patience you must have!! i want a basket of vegies please...so cute!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the story of many times in my life.... 'it seemed like a good idea at the time'. Perhaps it will be like giving birth.... bloody awful while you're in the midst of the whole thing (so I hear), and then you forget as soon as it's over and you see the beautiful result!
ReplyDeleteMATHS! A very big bane of my life. One of the reasons I chose to become a kinder teacher was because i couldn't really count past my fingers. I can manage 5 Green and speckled frogs no probs! Oh and the other reason was so that I would be taller than my students! Ha ha, that rule went out the window when i started teaching at TAFE. Luckily maths only comes into play when I am crafting and working out percentages off at sales! And I like both of those things!
ReplyDeleteNow a smart girl like you shouldn't waste her time counting up French knots!
Just love those Red Riding Hoods. They are so cute.
ReplyDeleteYou LOVE IT!!!!!! :-) (Said in outrageous English Cockney accent)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see WHY you need eight little reds!!
ReplyDeleteHire some elfs! Little fingers make smart work of all that fiddly stuff! =) Looks absolutely wonderful!
ReplyDeletelol, that's why i DON'T do the math in advance...it would make me throw in the towel.. Besides, isn't Red's grandma a carnivore? No veggies for him..um, I mean HER!
ReplyDeletefabulous! simply stunning,
ReplyDeleteWhat were you thinking.....oh that's right, you weren't!! LOL
ReplyDeleteBig Mistake! You shouldn't have counted them, now the task seems MA..mmo..TH!!
ReplyDeleteGlutton for punishment? We all have our moments!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Little Red is getting some work. I do LOVE her!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be fly on the wall just to see how you manage it all. Maybe I can learn something!
ReplyDeleteOctuplets!!
ReplyDeleteI'm tired just thinking about it.
See? That's why I hate math. Something is always multiplying or dividing.
