So guys, the big computer went into casualty late on Friday. There have been bedside vigils and those crazy bedside promises of backing up and defragging.
We are hoping for a full recovery but are approaching the whole thing with a zen-like attitude.
I can't figure out the whole iPad/photo/blog thing so you get a photo of Leopold, I mean I couldn't do two photo- less posts in a row, I'd be chased out of blogland by people with pitchforks.
And when he is returned to us, full of health and vigor, I shall post pics of dolls, and bags, and French knots and cheeky sperm.
Bet you can't wait !
Cheeky sperm??? WT??
ReplyDeleteHello Leopold! What a cutie! Does your computer have some kind of bug?
ReplyDeleteLeopold is gorgeous to look at, but the 'Cheeky Sperm' has me almost speechless. I'm with Lissa Jane - WT???
ReplyDeleteOoh, just had a thought (very dangerous indeed).
ReplyDeleteDo you think 'blogger' is getting back at you for your kind note of concern, by attacking your computer? Maybe it didn't take the critism, even if written with good intentions, very well.
I hope the cheeky sperm didn't crash the computer. Bit worried for you Jod!
ReplyDeleteSending Get Well Soon wishes for the 'puter...can't be having Jodie without the means to post photos of cheeky sperm...oh and Leopold, way cute...
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about your computer woes. I hope you don't loose anything in the process.
ReplyDeleteLeopold is charming - I don't think I've seen him before.
I hate computer problems, it leaves us so out of touch, hope things improve for you and I'm curious about those new projects too now!
ReplyDeleteHi Jodie
ReplyDeleteI am a new reader of your blog - but will now bw checking in daily to discover the cheeky sperm I have previously been missing out on.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for the big computer.
My word recognition word has bum in it. Snigger snigger.
Cheeky sperm. No other crafter in the history of the universe (past or future) would ever have come up with this.
ReplyDeleteI bow in awe before your greatness.
This why I have more than one puter. And also why (and even before I read this) I just backed everything up yesterday.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon poorly puter!
Gotta love CHEEKY SPERM! What a hoot. I can't wait to see pics of that..............:)
ReplyDeleteJust testing out a wee little change...
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Leopold!
ReplyDeleteBtw, Hannah (7yrs) just finished one of your three maiden on the weekend, and is extremely chuffed. I'll have to send you a picture.
Where can a pattern of Leopold be procured? (very handsome fellow!)
ReplyDeleteWe are all on tenter hooks waiting for a pix of said Cheeky Sperm.
Nothing like a computer meltdown to get the blood pressure up!
ReplyDeleteLove Leopold, he's cute. Can't wait for the cheeky sperm!?!
Good luck with the computer recovery.
Tee hee, hello Leopold. I can't work out anything blogwise other than my laptop. I had blue screen of death on my laptop last week, lucky i sleep with my IT guy, even if he's away in a war zone, he'll fix things with his wisdom over the phone & i'm a defragmenting & deleting maniac, no more blue screens, thank God!! He insists Mac never die, so we're switching next time i throw a laptop off a cliff. Good luck. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteHey jodie- love the bug! Hate computers, ah- technology! As for later reference to sperm we are all waiting with baited breath....=)
ReplyDelete"What did you do before there were computers mummy?" Lord knows but we may have paid more attention to cheeky sperm.
ReplyDeleteSee? Again, I think it is just ME..somehow everyone else gets to see the cheeky sperm but not me.
ReplyDeleteI need to stop feeling so paranoid. I need another visit to Dr. Finn's. ;p
Well, one thing we can all agree on, is you always make sure we have something to come back for. Just how they taught us in blog school LOL. Leopold, Leopold!! how tiny your stitches!! I hear the laptop will soon be cliff bound and the future is IPAD. apparently it's not mastering it's first steps eh? I'll wait until you figure it out. : )
ReplyDeleteCheeky sperm!!?? I'm not sure I want to know, unless it is a sperm whale?
ReplyDeleteBTW I have seen you are doing a bag for Australian Homespun. I can't wait as I love your projects, simple and effective.

Oh I adore Leopold! My computer died recently too ... what's going on? It's such a bugger isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I saw your beautiful new red-caped doll (red riding hood?) at GJs yesterday - she's just exquisite! I never expect anything but gorgeousness from your toys, but she totally caught my eye as soon as I went in. Lovely work, Miss Jodie!
Hope to catch up with you some time this year ...
x J
OK now I feel dumb ... I hadn't read your recent posts about the Little Red doll - that was the one I saw yesterday. Every detail is just so beautiful. Love love love!
