The school bursar (the chick with all the money and the magical order book) is an obsessive penguin lover, and I, being the librarian in need of monies to buy books, am an obsessive bursar lover. So I printed her a teatowel (it would have been a set of tea-towels but my screen printing is still quite hit and miss and the others didn't work out)
yes I do realise they look a little short sighted but you can't look a gift penguin in the mouth can you?
If you have an inkling for the printing, get on over to the new blog of Leslie, where she shows you step-by-step how to build your own silk screen. And whilst your there, take the time to add her to your reader, blogrolls, sticky-note systems. You won't be disappointed - she rocks the craft.

Sucking up - hope it works!
cute penguins ... very cute. Speaking of penguins, my twin sister has been on cruise in the Antarctic and she said that when they got to Macquarie Island ... there were heaps of penguins and she said if you stand still they come up to you as they are such curious creatures. Just a bit of trivia for you in light of your lovely penguins.
Blobby edges? Is that your hit and miss-ness? Cos it used to be mine, until I finally sussed the situation out. No sign of penguin blobby in that fine specimen of a grovel tea towel though.
I LUFF the penguin tea towel soooo much it hurts!! i hope you might more more of those? xo
I like penguins too. The penguins at the Aquarium come right up to the window - they seem to love little kids.

I hope this works and you get your books, other wise you might have to resort to making her a personalised doll?! I so have to up my effort, my kids teacher got homemade biscuits, very lame!

So totally on board with the whole sucking up to the one with the cash. Hand stitched glasses would cure the myopia but I doubt that penguin loving bursars are going to have any issues with those babies.
