My "inner Nanna" is out !
sounds perfect... have fun...Hugz
Nanna nothing. It sounds like bliss!Hoping they are out for the whole weekend for you ;)
Just a whisper..hi..enjoy your weekend!
Are there mothballs? You aren't a proper Nanna until there's mothballs....
Embrace your inner Nanna! Hope you have your slippers on....
Nothing wrong with behaving like a Nanna....just don't look like one.
Oh Jodie, it's moments like those that make me homesick. x
If only all Nanna's were like you!?
Friday night fantasy :)
Sounds perfect on a cold Friday afternoon - enjoy
Just got home from work...it's raining and cold....heater is on ....uniform off and trackies and uggies and really daggy baggy warm top on....dog in.....cutting mat and hexies ready to go....all is right with my world....nanna's of the world unite!
Oh sound perfect, must try getting the family out so mumma can have some quiet time one of these days.
I was amused by my computer's attempt to give me a synopsis of your post. It read:4:59 Friday afternoon. Pyjamas:On the first line. It then went on:On kettle: Boiled Family:It then read:Out Sewing machine: Ready. All of which made sense in a bizarre way which really made me smile.
I got the 'boiled family' synopsis too! Now that does sound a bit desperate :)
need a 'like' button 'cos I 'like'..Lizziexxx
I think you'll be competing with lots for nanna status. I'm so over early mornings and rush rush rush!
hope you have a relaxing and rejuvenating time! xo
That sounds dreamy! The other night I was crocheting in bed with a cup of tea while my husband was reading the Economist magazine. I'm not sure when we became geriatrics (but I wouldn't change it!).
Go Nanna go!
Go Jod! Stay away, family - at least for a while. Hope you are wearing nanna slippers and daggy trackies, Jodie.
Sounds fabulous!!! xo
Now that's my idea of a great Friday night "out".Have the same plans for this weekend myself.Enjoy, and make sure you post what you sew. Rebecca
I wonder when Nanna marks her post as "coming out" whether she realised what my first thought was!! Anyhoo - Sounds like a perfect night in. Sometimes it's a race between me and my daughter who gets in our jammies first! (She's 8!). Now add in some chocolate digestives to dunk in your brew and heaven will be attained! xx
Happy you ... shhhhhhh
Sooo jealous! It's 10:30 a.m. here, laundry churning, vacuum waiting, groceries bought, have to work the late shift 1:00 - 10:00, and then be back there at 7:15 tomorrow morning. AAK!
I want a Nanna JUST like you! ;0 Have fun and tell the dog, "You can hold it until the rain stops. I know you can." WHat is it with the wanting to go 'in and out' whenever it's raining? ;0
Go get 'em, Gran!
My Idea of Heaven. Too Good Jodie!
Happy weekend!! Thanks again for Sally and Smith - they arrived safely in their waterproof envelope! My daughter is excited to make them both. I will report back.
Hope you had heaps of fun. Thanks for making me feel better about sitting here in my PJs at 12.40pm on a Saturday!
Jodie, hope you were left alone long enough to enjoy and be creative.
GO NANNA GO!!!
10:40am pyjamas on; husband in backyard, blogs open - hurrah!
Ha ha! My favorite blog post ever!!! I like to let my inner nana out sometimes too.
