this way madness lies...

Obsessed.............Certainly

Tenacious ............ Obviously

But then he looks at me like that..........
and I sigh and put the kettle on (again) and start cutting out head number 25.

ANd this is why your softies have that certain-something that makes them irresistable. I just hope you haven't used up all that gorgeous Tessuti wool on toiles....?

You're not using the Tessuti wool on all those heads I hope.....
He is cute!

You go girl!!!

Gillian aka Silly Gilly said...

It's the glint in his eye and the perky smile that does it.

Persistence is the key. What are you going to do with all those heads??

25, really? That's some stickability! He is quite delightful.

I'm a little concerned as to what happens to all the disembodied heads?

And about how Milligan feels about all these foxes! Or is this fox a vegetarian?

We appreciate the sacrifice of your sanity for the sake of art.

Cheers,
AJ

Wow! That really is awesome tenacity! I would have probably given up around head no. 5, so I'm very impressed that you've made so very many heads in order to get the pattern just right.

Jan said...

I really worry about you sometimes, Jodie! You really do want to be known as the foxy lady, don't you!

Annie said...

heeee heeeeee heeeeee - foxy lady hee hee - looking forward to cake!

CAKE? Man! Is it that time of year already? I would have saved my phone call if I had realised ;-)

Jan said...

Trash, is it ever NOT time for cake???

Hey guess what? I just finished creating a fox softie too! lol
If you're not happy with the head, maybe it's the body that's wrong? Perhaps you could make a body to suit that head and end up with two softies?!? When I get my camera back from the shop, I'll be blogging my little foxie, he's not nearly as gorgeous as your fox head, but still my own design, so I love him! Good luck with yours, can't wait to see him finished!
hah! my verification word is jeckyl! Good name for a fox!

One thing your softies seem to have in common is their very "knowing" smile...as if they, too, are in on the joke. Such personalities!

Love it!
