oh the poor little dears... and really the elephants may catch a cold...all naked and all... there really is a nasty cold going around...maybe elephants can catch swine flu too?
There's simething very spooky going on at your place...those fleshy limbs (?) in plastic were particularly unnerving. As for those impaled heads...hmmm. On a different note I am SO sorry to have missed you at the market the other day, what a bummer! Hope you had a fun day and hopefully we will cross paths another time x
Ha - call that nothing?! At least you have heads on your knitting sticks! Mine are bare. Nor do I have bags of arms and legs to show for my nothingness or indeed a naked pachyderm.
You'll have to try harder than that if you want to impress us with your inactivity ;-)
Your sense of humor made me laugh. Thank you for the smile. I often feel like I'm accomplishing nothing or at least very little. Here's wishing for a productive week for you.
Ok...since no one else seems to have asked....are you planning to sell the pattern for your incredible elephants?....Naked or not I WANT ONE....Your productivity is amazing...You have inspired me beyond measure lately....all that as you claim to have done nothing....
Oh dear! Hope you're feeling better really soon and get some time to attach limbs and clothe some bodies.... ellys are TOO CUTE! Loving your bodyless creations on chop sticks too!!
Oh, Miss Jodie, even when you're not feeling well you make us laugh. I hope you're on the mend - the elephants look a bit embarrassed being naked and all.
love love love the green quilt! Still sulking about Sewjourn but got over it a bit being in NZ. Leaving Christchurch in the morning for home unfortunately. I think the max in Queenstown was about 5 so home is going to be warm!! Hope this doesn't mean you have been sick...just taking a blogging break?
Jodie - you should be on stage! I would pay to watch your show! LOL... even your blog titles make me laugh, because I know there's going to be a punchline to follow.
You're a crack up!
I mean that in the nicest possible way... moving along...
Hi Jodie, love those naked elephants. Are they a new pattern of yours. I would love to buy one if you sell them, so adorable. As for the disembodied ones, well I hope they can be brought to life soon.
I am enjoying catching up on all my blog reading here - this one's a goodie. Though I do have to say the last photo is a bit gruesome in a Middle Ages off-with-their-heads-and-stick-em-on-stakes kind of way. Let that be a warning to all the other softies.
It's all a bit gruesome really!!!! Won't show the kids!!

Geez Jodie, it's bloody freezing in Victoria at the moment would ya get those poor nekkid elephants a blanket at least?
ReplyDeleteExcept it's kind of frightening to see all those unattached body parts -- there's something to see!
ReplyDeleteThey're still cute whether they are unfinished, naked or disjointed! You are too funny!
ReplyDeleteSharon
