ReplyDeleteJodie
ReplyDeleteI have visited 'moogsmum' and also 'super monkey shop'.. also checked out a few other links, so thanks for sharing!!

Well this entry requirement was easy as I had already this morning left comments on Cass's blog (snailblazer) and Jess' blog (Button Beauty). I'm so very excited to see your big project. And if I ever do end up with any selvages I will send them your way. Unfortunately I hardly ever buy new fabric, and when I do they are usually only fat quarters, which rarely contain a nice selvage....but anyway, I digress. What a lovely thing you are doing by acknowledging everyone - although the downside is that I now have heaps of new blogs to visit which means more time sitting on my butt at this computer. Aaaahhh, the rigours of blogging.....
ReplyDeleteI observe that you are not "link challenged" as I am. :>} I started at the top and was working my way down the list when I realized TWO HOURS had gone by, it is 1:30 a.m., and I must get to bed! It's been fun meeting your friends. I left comments on a few; Our Shabby Cottage, The Quilting B, Flower Garden, Frogs Legs, and perhaps some others.
ReplyDeleteOh my gawd I can't wwait for the big reveal. But I'm concerned...what will I do with my selvedges now???
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I can't wait to see!!

Hi Jodie,
ReplyDeleteYep, I am collecting selvedges for you. Will probably mail a bunch right around the first of December. I checked out several of the blogs you listed as I was only familiar with a couple of them. I left a comment on Snailblazer and I am a Ginger Monkey. I liked them so well that I am going to add them to my favorite blog list. You are already there. :-)
I'm intrigued to see your final selvedge project. I already visit A lot of team selvedge's blogs, so today I visited Scrap bag and dont look now and have added them to my favourites
ReplyDeleteI popped in to see Selina (What were we thinking) and Annie( Flower Garden).
ReplyDeleteI think its brilliant that everyone sent you bits of selvedge and that you are giving away not one but two items. I love the craft blog community, everyone is so helpful and creative.
Ok. Now I feel guilty I haven't been able to make it to the post office to post it yet. I measured what I had when I first said "I'll send you mine!" and it was something close to 16 meters, mostly 1.5m or longer, and because of its size and weight I can't just put it in an envelope. I promise Monday at the latest! (I just need a day off! I've worked two weeks straight at the moment, so maybe I might be sneaky and post it from work...)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI looked at two sites--Two Little Banshees (love that name) and Our Shabby Cottage! I loved them both and have marked your site. I plan to take the time sometime soon and go through the whole list. I'm very inspired to start sewing again and quit lurking!
RG

Hi Jodie. Jennifer here to say, What would I do without your blog to cheer me up and give me such great laughs!? I've said that before but I have to say it again. And of course I admire your work so much. Even my husband likes to see your stuff. As of late he loved the snails, exclaiming 'their so cute' and got a kick out of the racetrack. Guys like games, no matter how simple! Thanks for this giveaway. I left comments on 2 little banshees and 4 wise monkeys...loved their sites and their names!

Nice to be part of the team! That dress is amazing, but you would know that by now. So do you want some more selvedge? I wasn't sure whether to keep sending them.

ReplyDeleteYour stuff is so cool!
