I spy - one corner of the sewing room.
Can you see:
- one super cool mini-wagon bought from My Poppet
- a parcel of selvedges yet to be unpacked.
- awesome dolls bed from IKEA
- some felted jumpers resting on a chair
- a basket containing dismembered dollies and a cut out bag for a special dolly.
- some pale green cardboard for an experiment that didn't work
- a still-not-finished Nanna trolley containing one large pink tutu
- a tiny bit of selvedge hanging from the window winder
- the reason I have achieved almost nothing crafty this week
What you missed it??? Hang on a tick - I'll get closer
At long last we found another kitten -this is Jude and he is very very small. He was only 1 gram into the legal weight range when we bought him from the shelter. He can't meow yet he just mews and cries like a baby. He is totally (and hysterically) uncoordinated.
He has stripey legs but a spotty tummy.
He hides and cries and eats and poops (thankfully in the litter tray)
and is learning to be loved!
So if its OK with you, I might just need a bit of an extension on those monsters.

ReplyDeletebut we love her anyway...
please can I have him? PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteOooooh look at the sweet little kitty cat asleep on the bed. I want a cuddle!
ReplyDeleteAwww what a little cutie! How will you ever find time to sew with such a lovely distraction?
ReplyDeletexxx
Jude is simply the cutest little thing. Thanks for sharing a cuddle. Love him amongst the books and on the little bed is just so sweet. I love him...and Miss Eloise too if she is reading.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he is convinced about the that 'learning to be loved' thing yet.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet...I hope we get to see more pictures...I love seeing them. I think it's funny how he's sandwiched in the bookcase next to Where's Waldo...'cos it's more like Where's Jude?
ReplyDeleteOh your kitty is adorable, what gorgeous eyes! Love the photo in the bookcase. ROFL. As for seeing the kitty with its own bed, now that is too cute for words. I started thinking of my own, and hmmmm, well I don't think she would take too kindly to going from the double spare bed to a little doll bed, haha. Great blog, off to read more.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! But I have to say your kitty does have the same expression my 3-year-old boy gets when I try to cuddle him!
ReplyDeleteoh, my. I'm a cooing fool right now. There's nothing like little kitties to make me a bumbling idiot. Soo cute!
ReplyDeleteHey Jude! (sorry couldn't help myself) He is the cutest little thing with the prettiest face but don't they take up lots of time when they are little. Have a hug for me please!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww What a cutie kitty...
ReplyDeleteMy best friend got one of those IKEA doll beds fr her little girl...I totally need to go back and but one for my kitty!
ReplyDeleteJude is a sweetheart!
awww does he have a sibling. Three quarters as cute would be acceptable.
ReplyDeletehe is soooooooo cute
Ohh how cute! I miss having kittys. Our dog does not play well with small animals so just her and my son play!! Have fun and give him a snuggle for me!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable!
ReplyDeleteJude is just adorable!! I am smiling from ear to ear. I just want to cuddle with him!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitting! A silver tabby by the look of him. He would love you sewing... all those threads to pounce on! The bed is juuuust right for him too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you want to play with him rather than work on monsters.
its lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI spied Jude, with my extra special cat sense! What a gorgeous little kitty. We forgive you for non monster making, I mean who could make monsters when there are baby cats in the house?
ReplyDeleteMonda

ReplyDeleteso cute! you've set me up to be murdered though. i now have the itch for a baby like that, and my hubby would kill me if i added to our zoo...oh well keep more pics coming and i'll get my fix on here.
ReplyDeleteOh wow ... he is just gorgeous. Our cat has stripey legs and a spotty tummy too ... and a striped tail like a raccoon. Hope Jude has a fantastic time living with the Jodie family - I'm sure he will. x
ReplyDeleteOh what a doll! Why can't they stay little forever? My kitty Mickey is 18 months and weighs 10 lbs. She was 3 lbs. when we got her at the shelter. Enjoy the kitten time!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a sweetie! I just adore kittens...they're crazy fun!
ReplyDeleteHe is Gorgeous I want to cuddle him.
ReplyDeleteHugs Mary.
You mean people go out and get cats on purpose? :>} Every pet we've ever had has been a stray who chose us, and would not take no for an answer. Of course we grew to love them. . . eventually. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh so cute!
ReplyDeleteI did notice something there and decided it was just a lump of grey dont know then ah ha - SOOoo cute. Family wants to get a cat and I have been saying NO for a long time - to many pets. When numbers dwindle (will be some time) I might say yes... (past history of cats wetting our doonas - something about some cats and doonas - become part owner of doona cleaner business at that time!)
ReplyDeleteI spotted him right away! He is adorable! And I'm sure he'll be a real big help in the sewing room..... you'll have to make him a little quilt!
ReplyDeleteoh he is ADORABLE I want one!! Isn't he a lucky little guy finding such a loving family!!
ReplyDeleteps I have had so many people admire my new bag!!!!

ReplyDeletewhat a peedie baby!!! So cute and fluffy looking.
ReplyDeleteLess crafty time but more crafty ideas i'm sure...
"How cute, can we have a kitten" this comment from Charlotte as I was reading your blog as she came over to kiss me goodnight. I'll send her down to you when I can't stand her asking anymore!
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute! Don't let your kitty distract you too much though!!! Lucy x
ReplyDeleteAwwwww! he reminds me of our little bundle of cuteness Cleo. We have had her nearly two years. She is a little cat, and the whole family is still madly in love with her. hey why not make a kitty inspired crafty thing? Kitten in a teacup perhaps!!! : )
ReplyDeleteHey Jude! Welcome to the world of blog!;)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhh - you and the kitty reminded me, I have to go to Ikea and get one of those dolls beds for my daughter! Knew I was forgetting something........(like her entire birthday!)
ReplyDeleteUnopened selvedges? That kitty may be the cure to the mania LOL (I do hope not!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie little cutie:)

ReplyDeleteI just had to add my squeal to the long line of squeals................ squeal! So cute.................. not just the pictures, your words too................... what's the term for feeling broody for a kitten?
ReplyDeleteDelicious. Love cats....obsessed with them in fact. That doll's bed is very cool too. Who knew Ikea had them?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh he is so cute and a dead ringer for my little kitty, Sasha. She has stripey legs and a spotty belly too.
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
Kitty is cute. Not familiar with IKEA? Is that a store?
ReplyDeleteLove the doll bed.
The kitty on the bed was the first thing I saw in the pic!
ReplyDeleteso sweet and cute....Leo used to sleep in Curly Girl's (our daughter) princess doll bed. Monster's can wait........
