So, you just want me to stand here right? Ouch ! but these pins keep sticking me. I know ! But you said 2 minutes about 20 minutes ago.
Seriously, this is so humiliating. You better not let them see my undies ..........What ? oh arms up...arms down ...like as if they care !
Just take the photo will you???
I cannot believe you have me standing here, full of pins in a dress made of kitchen paper towel ..yes PAPER !!!! and PINS ......................
All the other dolls are going to laugh at me - they have real dresses ...you know, made of actual fabric. (sheesh it's not like you don't have any).
anyway don't you have a house you should be painting......
orrrr, how cool is that !! Looking forward to seeing her in her new dress.

Tell her to settle down or you'll make her into a permanent pincushion!
ReplyDeleteI love her hair - that is really clever.
She looks a nice dolly from behind......is she too shy to show her face in her paper dress? Rather reminds me of the lady who used to live across the road from me.......she used to buy paper undies so that she didn't have as much washing!
ReplyDeletePoor dolly I am on your side, your naughty mummy has on dressed you and to stand there in that paper dress all that time you poor thing..that is doll abuse..that is I must have a talk to you mummy Jodie. Although I must say you look like that you look like a lovely doll from the backside. I look forward to seeing you dressed and front view! If you get to cold promise that you ask mummy for a blankie!
ReplyDeleteSee ya! Mel!
o my goodness ... I'm old enough to remember in the 60s when paper clothes were très hip. She should Google and see how very retro and chic you've dressed her.
ReplyDeleteAwww, a cute little red-head with attitude. I have a few of those myself! LOL
ReplyDeleteYay for paper towel pattern-making! I do it, too. :0)
ReplyDeletePoor Dolly! I feel for her, I really do. I remember my mother make me do pattern try ons as a child and it isn't much fun. I am sure she would rather be off playing with the other dollies.
ReplyDeleteShe's so cool! I LOVE her hair!
ReplyDeletekinda worried that you have made a voodoo doll! I just love dollies with red hair (even if their pigtails are pinned on and so are their heads).. us redheads have to stick together I say!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see the finished project Jodie!
Lissa

ReplyDeletelook at her legs!!!! She has stripes!!!! Oh, she is so cute from behind. I hope she doesn't turn around and have some kind of demon face, that would just be cruel!!!!
ReplyDeleteyou know, one of these days, I'm going to ask you for the loan of some of your DNA gene, LOL! just so I make 1 thing that is adorable...sigh...
ReplyDeleteI'm signed up for a Fall Card Swap (only yesterday I discovered it is a Halloween Card Swap...crap) and it is a Major Source of Stress for me...I should know better...
anyhoo...I went & measured the clock...casing & face are just under the size of a 10-inch dinner plate...
Tell dolly not to worry and I'm sure mummy will make her a real dress soon enough ... can't wait to see the painting!
ReplyDeleteYou are really one CRAZY MUMMA, I love it!!! Poor little dolly... Wouldn't you even let her look at the camera??
