It's Ginger & Blue of course, finally ready and making there way to shops near you.
I am busy making samples for shops and I realised that making six tiny duffle coats gives me a strange kind of happiness that I can rarely speak of outside the land of blogs.
(Well I can speak of it, but people never look at me in quite the same way afterwards)
It's only cause they are jealous of how cool and special you are :)
ReplyDeleteI would merrily listen to you yabber on about making teeny, tiny foxy duffle coats... but that is because I am also the sort of person who finds a peculiar happiness in that sort of thing! My poor husband must tire of all the strange crafty talk I inflict upon him for lack of anyone else to share it with!
ReplyDeleteAlso, stop making such cute toy patterns! I'm running out of excuses for why I NEED the patterns and to make some for myself!
Very adorable and I love the idea of a teensy duffle coat! What's not to like there?
ReplyDeleteI'm in Corowa NSW, can you hear me shouting "THEY'RE GORGEOUS"? Well done yet again, Jodie.
ReplyDeleteSome of us in blogland look at you sort of strange too but without video links (thank goodness) you never see them and live in the eternal delusion that we are laughing with you not.... :D
ReplyDeleteLove Ginger and Blue, I am so pleased you have them finished, will the pattern be on your site?
Have purchased homespun to be entertained by your friends party antics - much fun to be had whenever Jodie is nearby. Loving that soft sculptural sense of humour that forms with your makings. Entertaining as always. love the little foxes as well
ReplyDeleteOh my Jodie you have done it again and you just know what I'm doing as soon as I finish an argument with my printer :o) I am so looking forward to adding some more of your creations to my little collection :o) hugs
ReplyDeleteThat's what it's all about -- crafting what makes us giddy. Still searching for Homespun so I can read your little story.
ReplyDeleteTeeny tiny duffle coats *sigh*
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a tiny baby, there is little time for making clothes, but when you do, they are the most rewarding ones. I don't think there is much more satisfying than making cute, miniature clothes. I have just now realised that you have found a way to be able to meet that desire for as long as you want without all the dirty nappies and sleepless nights. You are very clever :)
it makes me happy to see them and my fingers itch to make a tiny wardrobe for someone too! thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteEeeeek! They're SO cute! Look at those eyes -- soon.....a litter of Baby Foxes!!!!
ReplyDeleteJodie, so darling. My first giraffe is underway. Should be birthed this week! Hugs from Texas.
ReplyDeleteRidiculously adorable!
ReplyDeleteI want to make one just so I can make the duffle coat! They are gorgeous. I am hoping you are selling these in download form so I get get started tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I thought when I saw the new release of Collette patterns was I wonder what they call the closures on those coats :) I just love these Jodie and I think they might becoming to live at either mine or Aydens house
ReplyDeleteNot sure anyone but a fellow crafter would get the duffle coat pleasure principle.
ReplyDeleteLove the foxes!
I finally got my hands on this month's Homespun today and I think I understand your duffle coat pleasure because I was just so excited that you gave Dot cute little undies. I do like a well-dressed softie!!!
ReplyDeleteWe know what you mean!
