No idea on a name but you have just reminded me of a dear old lady who has passed away now but made a dramatic entrance into the vet clinic to announce one day that she had a very sensitive pussy. I still chuckle and think fondly of her 15 years later.
2 cats on the cover - Fishing Cats?? (yeah, I know - obvious or what - but I'm the girl who grew up with two cats named Smokey and Snowy and you can guess what colour each one was; I definitely don't get the prize for imaginative naming!) Your new little felines are SO cute, Jod!(but you know that, don't you?)
Well, I reckon the bleeding obvious is fine. However, you could always use a different language to express what we have here: English - Fishing kittens; Italian - gattini pesca; French - Chatons de peche (there should be one of these ^ above the first 'e' in peche); Dutch - Vissen kittens Swedish - Fiske kattungar Google translator will give you heaps of options if you ask! :)
I love the single cat as it looks clearer but I also love the image of the five kittens. For a name - how about Fish and Chips. Love this pattern - but then you already know that. Another wonderful pattern to add to your growing list of brilliance.
ha ha, Fish and Chips, love it! I was thinking of Max, but sounds way boring now! One is lonely, two is boring, three is a trio of trouble...just like kittens!
I like the whole Fish and Chips name idea, but worried about when we get to Dim Sim; folk law has it that they are made from cats!! I'm thinking 'Smelly Cat' as the little fish might be a bit on the whiffy side. Also, reminds me of the song lyrics sang by Phoebe on Friends in her ditty, 'Smelly Cat'.
I'm loving the Fish and Chips name too... These little guys are adorable Jodie. Another winner! You are amazing. I love the single kitty photo... but how can you resist all the others, especially the one of the 5 of them? Too cute.
I like the gaggle of 5, especially the little peek of orange at the back. So busy looking at the sweet kitties I didn't see the fish !! So yes, Fish and Chips is clever.
like the multiple kitties... my daughter loves cats so just might have to try these patterns. the grey one is sort of like my cat but not as fluffy lol. how about catzoned.
I have it on good authority (from my cat-breeding beautician) that you need five cats to qualify as a crazy cat lady. Maybe five is a good number! They are so cute, I don't think you can go wrong no matter how many you include. One of our cat's nicknames is fattus cattus, but I like the earlier suggestion of Fish and Chips. (I was trying to think of something cute in Japanese to add to the good multilingual suggestions, but I got distracted by the idea of Pickles and Sushi.)
those are adorable ... i like your title for a name...
ReplyDeleteHugz
you just continue with the fabness, love these......smartcat !
ReplyDeleteDefinitely 2 cats on the cover, (I do have a bias, I have 2 cats!)Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love the pic with the one cat but have no idea on a name :(
ReplyDeleteHow adorable. I like the photo with 1 cat.

We like the picture of the single grey cat the most!

ReplyDeleteIs Felix too obvious or perhaps even trademarked?
ReplyDeleteLove the single pic
Love them! Maybe just the one cat so it has a clear silhouette. I would call it nimble, not sure why?

I like the Swedish one!

They are adorable, can't think of a name but 2 on the cover definitely!

ReplyDeleteany crazy cat lady worth their salt will tell you more is better.
ReplyDeletethese are way too cute.
fish and chips, but then you'd have to name the rest of them salt, vinegar, ketchup, brown sauce and mushy peas.
why is there no twitter button on this post.
ReplyDeleteI need to tweet this.
*sigh* you making me do it manually!

ReplyDeleteI like the pic with one cat with the fish. As for names how about Catfish. They all look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHow about the name Fishy Kitty. I like the single photo of the cat. Very cute design!

ReplyDeleteUseless things are often the best! LOVE the comment about Phoebe and Smelly Cat. However I love Fish and Chips!!!
ReplyDeleteMeow! Sweet little kitties you've created.
ReplyDeletePussykins...love!
ReplyDeleteOMG, so cute! One cat on card, no idea for names, though.
ReplyDeleteI think 2 kitties would be cute. The first thing that came to my mind was The Meow Mix. Can't wait to see what you dream up next.
ReplyDeleteOne cat on the card for me too. What about Fatticus Catticus
ReplyDelete2 cats and no idea on a name.
ReplyDeleteSo Cute, Catfish and Chips to combine the clever ideas already mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI vote for one cat, but a title is beyond me! Really really love the fishes.

ReplyDeletehow about catzoned.
I like the photo with one cat (but love the idea of making more than one!). Maybe "Gone Fishing"? (can you tell I grew up in a country town?)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, love them!
ReplyDeleteI like the last pic best for a pattern photo.
The photo with lots of cats I like best. It's so hard to get a stuffed toy to really look like a cat, they often look more like bears or, worse, dogs.
ReplyDeleteI like the name Dorcas.
Sorry I meant to say that your cats look like cats so well done! That's what happens when I have a couple of beers in the afternoon.

Multiple kitties on the cover(IMHO). ;p
ReplyDeleteName it? I suck at that! ;p
Oh my! Love your kitties! Like the pic with one fisherkitty as it's clearer to see its gorgeousness.
