Hey Jodie, Congratulations on making it through to the end of your working week and beginning of your long anticipated leave. I expect your farewell morning tea went really well, because I hear tell that it was spent elsewhere to avoid aforementioned fuss! Don't blame you. My first week of teaching up the road was coincidently the week of my birthday. One of the other teachers kept on insisting on the Friday that I should go and visit the other staff room. I kind of guessed what it might have been for and avoided the place like crazy. I'm sure they all enjoyed the cake. I didn't need to be there and they were better off without me : I don't do birthdays (especially my own!!!).
