Good alternative idea...the animals would have only been hiding in the shade anyway. Can we see the handbag?! Happy LSL, I am sure you will enjoy the time off to be creative and that we will enjoy being along for the ride.
When the weather is a bit cooler you MUST go and see the new baby elephant, Jod; it's SOOOOOOO cute! Don't blame you for staying home in this heat when you can do all that other stuff tomorrow ... or the next day... or the next day... etc etc etc. Continue having fun, you lucky duck.
The very best time to be at Melbourne Zoo, is on a 23 degree week day before 11am. Overcast is a bonus. I'll meet you at the main entrance coffee van and we can toast the Meerkats.
Love the new blog look! Have been with 'proper' internet for a few days, so only just noticed! V. cute! As is that delightful colouring in on your handbag. heehee
Yay for Long Service Leave! I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds delightful. Also, the zoo here is perfectly chilly. Just sayin'. And I'm not even gonna tell you what I thought that drawing of a thermometer was.
Jodie chose well. It was a bit too warm for the zoo. Today is a much better day for it!
ReplyDeleteand Jodie changed the blog design! love it!! :)
