Hurray - shes' back and not dead as I feared (and wrote on the form)
The green curtain fabric for the show is sulking in the corner , but after almost 5 days with no machine - I am hardly rushing to sew that !
Tonight as part of Fiona's sleepover am working on kit ideas for the birdcages -
I'll be back later with a progress report.
5 days without a machine? How did you survive??? The comment on the form made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteWhat quirky said!! 5 Days?!!! Egad!
ReplyDeletePossibly you are not dead, just pining for the fjords like a certain parrot.
That green fabric looks interesting, possibly teamed with a rust coloured fabric it might liven up some... tho' maybe when you are machined up again.
Sleeping sounds good. It works for cats after all. Have a good sleepover... I do hope cake is involved... preferably before the sleeping.
Glad you've got something to work on for our sleepover. I do love your little birdcages. I have two avaries in my back yard and very productive birds in one of them. Sitting on eggs at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI'll be back to check on your progress.
I'm so glad it was nothing fatal!!

Just sitting here in Missouri patiently waiting for a bird cage kit.

I love that shot of the green fabric - it's folds and the light shining on it. Yes, I'm a complete fabric whore, but doesn't it look just lovely?
ReplyDeleteOr is it just me who thinks that?

Great news about the machine!!!
ReplyDeleteGood she is back and humming along with no gastly noises. After that bit of R&R and a good tune up she is ready to tackle that lovely green fabric...such a pretty sheen.
ReplyDeleteSleepovers and crafy projects sounds like a winning combination.
