True, how about Viking Pirates? My dear friend/fiend Jackie says she is descended from Vikings. I keep seeing her as a Valkyrie riding down a hillside with a double-headed axe in her hand...and then I wake up screaming and need chocolate. It's a hard life. Are you going to give them a boat?...in the winter, will their timbers shiver?...did they get a degree in Piracy from the University of Aarrrrhus in Norway?
Ooh, just thought...Little Red Riding Hood and the Pirate Vikings!
We have a love and fondness of pirates too! My son used to draw them (I have the collection of drawings) and we used to read a book where I was the pirate voices. We still joke about the names today. Poopdeck Percy always gave us giggles. He even had a pirate themed birthday party with treasures and eye patches. Fun times...why should they stop with childhood!!! The Viking makes a great companion. OH and I have pirate fabric to make a quilt with, one day. Can't wait for your stories.........

Vikings were kind of pirates, only they came on land and did a lot of damage before sailing off with the booty and the occasional woman before they decided that Ireland, the Orkneys, Shetlands and the east coast of the UK and Normandy looked like nice spots for a bit of domestic setting up. They are cute looking fellas anyway! I'm sure they mean no harm. :)
Arrrrgh
