I love a dare, but that's one mighty big grrrrrrrrrr going there, so maybe not...! It's the b****y weather, it's enough to make anyone stay sick..... Get well soon Jod.... Lizzie xxx
You won't be - not for 12 weeks - it is a horrible thing to have and just when your body starts to recover, your mind goes west from keeping it all together. I prescribe BBC Radio 4 downloads - plays/women's hour/even The Archers. You can then imagine you are on a train to London to go to Liberty. Take care!
Hmmm... me thinks that, actually, you DON'T want me to ask that question...?! Instead I shall ask "What is my cat doing at your house?" - seriously, we could have twin moggies!
I know you will not be better. In China they call it the 100 day cough so I'm guessing you have another 80 days to go! I know what it's like so I'm not coming near you!!!! I do hope you feel better soon. Shabs, XXX
I never mess with a cat! Specially one that's giving me that "look"! So I wont ask....but I might lean forward and stroke it under the chin....does that help?
Well just say the Exorcist look is so in these days... at times like this I'm glad there's a very big ocean between us!!
Well it's back to bed for you then...with mog beside you. He'll look after you. Hope you are seriously better soon Jodie. I'd hug you but I would hate to set off a coughing fit... ok and for you to throw up over my shoes.
Email me your address and I'll post you something to cheer you up.
Get better soon, Jodie. Don't push too hard to get back to work and crafting before you are physical ready for it. Frustrating times for you. All good wishes, Mandy:)
Well, guess I'd better not ask...eh?...For what it is worth...you have a lot of people that miss you and sincerely wish your health to be restored sooner, rather than later. Thanks for showing up....The humor, in what ever form, is a good sign.
well thats a loaded question if ever I heard one...
I shall take it as a no you arent better. :o( ... keep resting and I hope you are able to do some crafting... or at least watch terrible movies with meds and hot and cold drinks.
Well. . . maybe not. But the up side is, you have had time to create a charming frog story - in between bouts of coughing and puking in the street :0/ You also get to stop worrying about arcisus faticus, as all that coughing makes it impossible to consume anything except hot tea at regular intervals. Feel better, my dear.
Oh dear!!! Such a lovely thing to make you feel soooo much better!!!! And I bet nobody helped either!!!! Were the kids there and just walked off as well???
Methinks you may have thought you were heaps better than you actually were. Time to stop and drink red wine (purely on a medicinal basis) and chocolate - get some good DVDs and a blankie and do nothing. Order the rest of the family to look after you (that one always makes me feel great!!!snort)
Oh dear, really? I hope you feel better soon Jod, or at least that someone is tucking you up into bed with a hot water bottle and some medicinal chocolate?
Poor you - takes a lot to keep a gal like you down so this must be serious. Look after yourself - and make sure everyone else in the family looks after you too - rug up, read and daydream. Hope it works!
Oh dear. Finally popping back in just to find myself being growled at. Serves me right for taking that dare! Whooping cough begone... dreadful stuff. (Especially that vomiting in the street bit - I really hope that bit isn't true). Get better Ms. RicRac, and soon.
Erm...
ReplyDeleteSo Jod. Are you better yet? Are ya, huh, huh??
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
